about 4 years ago | Hey, welcome to OSM. Just a little heads up, we can flag things as vacant (in this case disused:amenity=bank). It then helps prompt mappers to update the place in the future, and can help people collect statistics on vacant vs in use shops. Cj
| 111974155 | about 4 years ago | Hello & welcome to OSM. Just a quick heads up, we use international phone numbers, so it should be "+44 1244 374 046". Also there are some issues with the address, I think I'd do the following in this case:
Let me know if you need any help, Cj |
about 4 years ago | Hello + welcome, Confusingly natural=wood doesn't actually mean there is anything natural about it. It basically means, "there are trees here" which there are, so I've re added in #111984466 Cj
over 4 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM. Just a heads up, mapping driveways is valid in OSM. And we try not to delete things others have mapped, without a good reason.
over 4 years ago | I think for existing ones, I've done that. If I added any duplicates as nodes, let me know and I'll fix them.
over 4 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM. Just a heads up, we can't use Royal Mail as a source for OSM. They wont allow it. We can however use Code-Point Open from Ordnance Survey as a source for postcodes. Also in this edit the building tag was removed and an area tag added, I've swapped this back in #111277039. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
over 4 years ago | Ha, I've been having issues reading my laptop lately. Perhaps time for an opticians appointment :( Anyway, hope you enjoy OSM, let me know if you have any questions.
over 4 years ago | Hey, just a heads up, since this isn't free it should have been fee=yes. I've fixed it in #111248505. Thank you and welcome
over 4 years ago | Changed to operator:companies_house in #111161334
over 4 years ago | It was by design, I feel like I've used it before too. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10238727
over 4 years ago | Hey, please try and use helpful descriptions, for example "Added bin" not "g".
over 4 years ago | Hey thank you, access=private is enough. We don't delete paths over private land. reverted in #111113104
over 4 years ago | Hey, just a heads up you can tag empty shops with disused:shop. See #111016918
over 4 years ago | OK, thank you!
over 4 years ago | Hey, was it intentional to delete an ice cream shop and pub in this?
over 4 years ago | OK, nice one. I've removed amenity=telephone in #110368092
over 4 years ago | Do you happen to remember if this phone box is in use, or disused? A bit of a Schrödinger's cat right now.
over 4 years ago | Hey, I'm questioning the use of disused:amenity=place_of_worship along with amenity=pharmacy. This is an in use pharmacy that was historically a place of worship. It's not a disused place of worship. Would you have anything against me removing disused:amenity=place_of_worship?
over 4 years ago | (local?) news has it as opening today, so perfectly timed. :) https://www.timeout.com/london/news/a-first-look-inside-londons-first-wendys-082721
over 4 years ago | It's listed in FHRS, it shouldn't be listed there (significantly) before opening. https://ratings.food.gov.uk/business/en-GB/1389153 I did have bit of an ulterior motive, being that it was contradicting itself as being tagged as an disused amenity as well as an amenity.
