Bradley, Did you create all these Meadows, Marshes, Heaths, Roads, Farmyards, Fences, Lines, Buildings, Residential Areas, Streams, and Natural Wood zones in my yard and my neighbor's yards?

Thanks Bradley, So your saying that private property should only be marked as private in the OSM if there is a sign up? There are literally dozens of private property signs all over this zone. There is even a gate at one of the property lines(That is typically left open). I simply modified everything to correctly show the road surface, Posted speed limits(Yes there are speed limit signs) and weather or not the property is private vs public. Note that I live in Russell Valley and go through here everyday. There has been a lot of easement drama here including lawsuits.
I get it that the principles are to mark what is on the ground, but shouldn't private be marked as private in the OSM? But also where do you draw the line on what is marked and what is not? I get it that the philosophy of the OSM is to mark all roads, private or public for the cause of open sourced data. But consider this: I literally used my backhoe to cut another dead end road in my backyard 2 weeks ago. Barely wide enough to support the tractor, about 300 feet long. The road follows where a line of trees were that I needed to pluck out of the ground, and I had to build the road as I pulled the trees out to get the tractor to the trees. Now that the trees are gone, I will probably reshape the road back into a hillside when I find time. Would you suggest that this road gets added to the OSM??? Even after I eliminate it? There is also a 15 foot long footpath from the back door of my basement down to my lowest road. Should that footpath be on the OSM? There are also pathways completely circling my entire house. Should they be on the OSM? There is about a half acre of flat ground that can be used for parking between my Ag building and the house, and more on the east side of the house. Should this be on the OSM? My dog tends to walk down the center of the knoll when he is on patrol, creating a faint path in the grass. Should that be on the OSM? I recently mowed some grass on the west side of my meadow so i could get out to the forest, should that be on the OSM? For a few years I have been trimming the edge of my knoll to make it easy to drive on. Shoudl that be on the OSM? There's literally dozens more examples. But seriously where do we draw the line on what should and should not be included in the OSM in the context of private properties and backyards? I am not trying to be facetious, It is a genuine question of what is right and wrong to put in the OSM, and I am asking it because of what is written in the Why can't I delete this trail? link. I am afraid that the only reason these paths are being added to the OSM is because they are visible from aerial photos because of the lack of trees in my yard, but there are literally dozens of miles of similar roads in my neighborhood that are undocumented due to the tree cover.

Please keep in mind that my neighborhood is extremely unique. It is all gravel roads, all private roads through the middle of everyone's yards, the only legal access is through easements, and there are basically zero gates or fences. Most of the world would simply put up gates and fences, but unfortunately that is pretty much impossible here, because we usually have 5-10 feet of snow on the ground for much of the year, and need huge areas to pile up the snow in order to keep the roads passable. This is very important to be aware of because the nature of this environment is not conducive to the cookie cutter mold of the OSM, or how the OSM data is getting used.

All these deletes were completely intentional.  100% of this is private property, and basically zero of the deleted features were correctly mapped.  None of the boundaries for heaths and meadows were drawn correctly. They were total nonsense if you actually know where meadows and shrubs are.   (Probably done by a bot, or someone who has never actually seen the Russell Valley neighborhood in person)All of the homeowners have had chronic issues with the general public trespassing down private paths and destroying roads and meadows when they are soft. Many of the "buildings" were actually trailers or cars.  And a "Residential Area" is not a small sliver of people's lots.  Our entire lots are our residences.  The pathways that were deleted are ABSOLUTELY a no go for the general public. They should not be on ANY maps.  (Like you will most likely get a gun pointed at you for being on some of them).  Note that 100% of the neghborhood is private property, and all the gravel roads are private easements right through the middle of peoples yards.
With the uptick of things like Strava and Amazon and other mapping apps referencing more and more detail from the OSM, the issue rates have been exponential.  Amazon had been chronically going down the wrong private pathways and speeding at ~35-40mph. Pets almost getting run over and raising huge clouds of dust, and just destroying roads at those speeds.  (I added a speed limit a week or 2 ago, and Amazon finally started behaving like civilized humans).  Strava has been suggesting routes right through people's yards, leading to countless trespassing cyclists practically running over dogs. We had a semitruck get stuck in a meadow completely destroying it etc...

Thanks for working hard on the OSM. Many of the features in this changeset are on private property. And many are simply incorrect. I have had lots of issues with the general public not only coming through private easements, but also with people wandering off the main private gravel roads and into my yard. Lost and wandering people have been chronically destroying roads and meadows when they are soft. Many thousands of $ of destruction have occurred and I have had to construct barricades. Tow trucks and wreckers have had to come out many times as well. I would prefer to keep most all of these features on my private property off the OSM. Is that OK with you?
