HI, thanks for signing up and editing OpenStreetMap. As you requested a review I'm just having a look at your edit.

Overall the edit is good. One thing to consider is sharing nodes between the rivers and areas such as the river and dam rather than leaving a gap, unless the gap does make sense or there is a clear area.

The same would be true of the area where the woods have crossed over the dam. I would align these up and take into account that the tree cover will be above the dam, but at the ground level they are distinct area.

Hi, it's a really good question.

If it's currently in use then landuse=animal_keeping landuse=animal_keeping

and then a barrier/fence around it.

If it's for ruins, then add a ruins tag to it. ruins=*

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks - I was trying to do some mobile editing and totally screwed this up. Should be fixed now.

Cheers - Interesting to know what this is and the extended 16 months that it's going to take.

In addition, I have set the paths as highway:construction and have also added the construction site to the map.

I'm not sure if the deletion of the trees here makes sense, you might be able to convince me of the change to natural=scrub - but I am curious why?

Hi @Pawico; in part you are right. In Scotland cycling on paths is permitted by default.

However, this is only the case for pavements if they are designated part of the core network or have signs indicating that cycling is permitted.

I cycled down the top part of this yesterday and didn't see any signs indicating that cycling is permitted OR any sign's saying that this is the case.

Therefore, I'm planning to revert this change tomorrow (Monday) unless you can provide some evidence that cycling is permitted and that there are suitable for cycling.

Cheers
Chris

Hi, thanks for this your edit looks great. I was just passing over here a few weeks ago and this is a good reminder to add some of the missing paths.

Let me know if you have any questions about OpenStreetMap.

Cheers

Hi, I've not heard back from you. I've done some investigation and I can't find any indication that the previous spelling was wrong so I'm going to set it back.

Hi just want to check this change, according to this - https://www.falkirkcommunitytrust.org/venues/callendar-park/ the previous spelling is correct?

Sorry yes, totally mixed up my east and west somehow. Sorting out now.

Cheers; think the problem might have been due to lack of access tags on the track, what are you using for the route planning?

Thanks for the Edit, looks great to me.

This isn't so much a NCN route as a bunch of rights of way combined together to form a bunch of linked rights of way.

So the NCN tagging elevates this to a level where non MTB users might end up attempting it.

So it's fine to show and and display as a route, and I have no doubts about the legality of cycling it, however it should be shown with the emphasis on the MTB rather than NCN!

I hope that makes sense?

Recently cycled through here, so will set access correctly.

HI, do you have any evidence of these been connected. This looks to me like 2 separate properties, each with it's own entrance?
