almost 2 years ago | What are you usingas a source for this?
almost 2 years ago | Hi Welcome to OpenStreetMap; let me know if you have any questions.
almost 2 years ago | There is a destination:lanes that can be used for this. See: destination=*#Destinations_per_lane there are also some examples on that page. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
almost 2 years ago | Hi, for the lane count if there are 2 lanes here reading the wiki page on this lanes=* Even if there aren't neccessarily 2 lanes maked on the ground this is okay provided this is the way the roundaboutn is used.
almost 2 years ago | Thanks, tghst looks good.
almost 2 years ago | Edit looks good to me.
almost 2 years ago | Sounds good! FYI I removed the photo link to google. We can't use these as sources, but from the sound of things this is your business so all "local knowledge"
almost 2 years ago | Looks good - if there is a gate, this can be added as a point (node) in the correct position.
almost 2 years ago | That's great, if you don't 100% know the name it is better to leave empty and add in later.
almost 2 years ago | Perfect. If you can add websites and addresses, that is also useful.
almost 2 years ago | Thanks; these things are quite tricky I would probably go with shop=plant_hire ( shop=plant_hire ) But we also could be shop=tool_hire
almost 2 years ago | Hi Jamie. welcome to OpenStreetMap, thanks for adding these buildings. I think your main question is around the postcode on the road, we don't usually expect to see postcodes on roads. Better is to add it to the building that you know have that postcode. My other tip is to square the building, you can do this by right clicking on the building outline and choosing the square option. Or when you have selected the outline of the building press Q
almost 2 years ago | HI- i see you requeste a review. From my quick look this all looks great, is there anything you are particularlyconcerned about?
almost 2 years ago | Hi - welcome to OSM or at least your first Edit. I see you requested a review, which is why I stopping by to say hello. Overall the edit looks good, from the comment about the library you should see that the way we often map this kind of thing is to have the building mapped as what kind of thing it is and then when there are multiple functions we add these as point (or nodes) on the map, so here there is a node for the library. Let me know if you have any questions?
almost 2 years ago | Thanks Dean, great to know that there is someone local keeping an eye on things.
over 2 years ago | Hi Tom, The edit looks good to me. Did you have any particular questions?
over 2 years ago | Thanks for this - normally for closed shops we mark the shop as disused rather than deleting it. Makes it easier to add a new shop back in, and is helpful in following the previous occupants.
over 2 years ago | Thank!
over 2 years ago | lol! yes I didn't look closely enough. I think there is definitely some tidying up that can be done, especially if you have good local knowledge.
