Hi, You can't see the problem now as I've removed/corrected the offending sections. Actually, I can now see another section of highway you've inadvertently mapped. If you look at the road you refer to in your above link, open that for editing. Zoom in and pan to the next road to the east. At the crossing point of the roads you'll see just to the south an extra node that should not be there. In the previous instance, you had joined a similar node onto the next road making a short duplicate section. Hello, I just wanted to point out that field outlines do not extend to the center lines of highways so should not be joined to the highway line. If they did it would make driving very difficult.

Also footpaths across fields are not joined to field edges/outlines, they are either excluded from the field or are inside one field edge only, definitely not joined to two adjoining field outlines. Again it would make for difficult walking.

The above-mentioned methods of mapping are not to OSM best practice. Also with changesets containing, in this case, 131 objects, it's very difficult to trace your own mistakes. OSM advises uploading much smaller changesets 10 to 20 objects, it costs no more.

I doubt this junction is formally named "Intersection Point". Only formal verifiable names should be added to OSM. The fact that the four roads meet here itself describes it as an intersection point. Thus I've removed the name.

That a way may be private, as is almost all land in the UK, is no need to exclude it from OSM. Anything the public can determine can be added to the OSM database.

You've unfortunately made many mistakes in this changeset. Duplicated highways, extensive culverts instead of bridges, bridge on top of railway, half-mile-long bridge across the countryside and a trunk road dragged away off line.

Can you please correct the mistakes, it might be better to revert the changeset and start mapping again.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. My apologies about the crossing, at first look I could not see a path across the road just there. On closer inspection of Bing imagery, I can see the footway just to the side across the road. I've extended the footpath and reinstated the crossing.

Hi, I've removed your new Way: Widford Road (1066908951) as it is duplicating the existing Way: Widford Road (1066923498). Thus causing disruption to routing. I've also removed the crossing Node: 8316970046, the path only joins to the road not crossing it.

I've added back the service road Way: 681227102 that you somehow deleted.

I've also removed the two new footways as they seem unlikely additions especially since they are tagged as very long highway crossings. I also removed the four crossing points.
