Hi, Welcome to openStreetMap.

I noticed you've given two numbers to each building and tagged them building=house. If as there are two numbers these are flats then a better tag would be building=apartments.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

The building, Way: 383175696, is actually two houses so the tag building=semidetached_house is incorrect. If you can't determine and divide the building then the correct tag is building=residential. I've amended the tag.
The other two houses are best tagged building=detached_house, to show a detached building that is a house. I've amended the tags.

Hello jonfee,
I'm sorry to sat that you're making quite a few mistakes adding the footpaths.
Duplication, you placed a footpath on top of an existing unclassified road. The existing way should have been appropriately amended instead.
Some of your footpaths cross over each other without joining, thus routing cannot go from one path to the other.
You have changed foot=designated to foot=yes on public footpaths. The correct tag is foot=designated, (it's designated by virtue of being a Public Right of Way). You ought also add designation=public_footpath.
You've used access=no and other restriction tags (bicycle=no, horse=no, motor_vehicle=no) on sections of PRoW which clearly have higher uses than the designated use.
You've tagged the highway authority references numbers (HE184,HE52 etc.) as names. These should be tagged as prow_ref=??? . Preferably with source:prow_ref=definitive_statement if you got the info from a definitive statement or map.
I've not yet made any corrections but left it so you can see the points I've mentioned. If you need any help with corrections please just ask.

Hi, The school names and address data is held on the school premises outline as per OSM practice. I've tweaked some school outlines to suit imagery.

Hi, I've placed your new data (for all building POI) on the existing building outlines. Tagged the building as building=apartments and amended the postcodes.

Hi,
Thanks for correcting the public footpath route.
The path may well be named by immediately local folk but then probably by a non verifiable name. Things added to OSM must be easily verifiable by the next person that looks.
As far as I can see RS 46 is the Council PRoW ref number stated on the High Halstow definitive map, PRoW ref number are not names. There is another reference to the path being ME/Peninsula/RS46, (this possibly interprets to Medway/Hoo Peninsula/RS46). You can find a full list of PRoW ref's here :-https://tinyurl.com/wsa89cr

Looking at the aerial imagery I see two different types of path, crossfield (unlikely to have a formal name), field edge track which used to be only a footpath (unlikely to have a name). I've looked at several historic maps and cannot find this path named.

Hi, RS 46 is not the name of the path or way, it's the highway authority reference.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I removed the data you added to the building as it duplicates data existing on the school outline.OSM practice is for school data to be on the premises outline.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I removed your church POI as it was inside the alreaddy mapped church building, thus a duplication. If there needs to be an amendment pleas make it to the existing building.
Also removed 2 unnecessary node and an incorrect lane tag.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
There are now three polygons (1 nightclub building and 2 other buildings) each named Village underground, two buildings numbered 54
Way: Village Underground (205296759)
Way: Village Underground (157314605)
Way: Village Underground (145349847).
Is something not correct here? Also isn't the mission number 55 still there in Holywell Lane?

Regards Bernard.

Please be a bit more careful, you're duplicating a lot of roads and bridges.
I've just removed the duplicates I can see around here.

Hi,
Just a query. Are you sure the public footpath RS46 joins the A228 near the SEE Board Storage area?
The High Halstow map and OS maps show it going south crossfield from Solomon's Farm and then east to join Ratcliffe Highway near the roundabout.

Hi UKChris,

My mistake you are quite right, I now recall visiting a church, I think in the peak district UK, which is a rocky hollow surrounded by trees. I've added building=church.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, I've amended the name to suit OSM best practice. Expanding the abbreviation and changing letters to lower case. I also removed the unneeded building=yes tag, this is implied from the tag amenity=place_of_worship

Hi, oneway=no is not needed, absence of a oneway tag implies no oneway restriction.

The lanes=2 tag is incorrect on this road. Only if the lanes on a two way road are not distributed evenly between the driving directions, the keys lanes:forward=* and lanes:backward=* can be used in addition to the lanes tag.
The lanes tag is a bit complicated please see here :-lanes=*

There's a lot to learn in OSM if you need help please just ask.

Hi, Sorry to say this building you've got this building wrong so I've removed it. The buildings are mapped, the address data is on the school grounds outline as per OSM practice.
Regards Bernard.

Hi,
The absence of a tag implies a negative attitude, so no real need for religion=none.
Other address data OK and thanks.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

No real need or purpose to put address data on the garage as well as the house.
