Hi Benarg, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Some landowners will say anything to deter folk from exercising a public right across their private land. Listen to what they say then determine the truth. All land in the UK is private but there are many varied instances where there is public access to private land as a right.
The East/West section was correctly tagged as foot designated, this is a Public Right of Way. I have walked this path. If you must put an access tag here then access=agriculture better describes it as the way serves adjacent land, two houses and farms.
I have reinstated the foot=designated tag and added access=agriculture.
From Chain Bridge to Stoke Road priory chase is a Norfolk County Council Maintained Road. U21327. I have amended the tags on these sections.
The other section NE of Chain bridge, I have walked this in the past with no hindrance but I see there is no recorded public use. Please don't put access=private as this precludes anyone claiming a public access right from the time you declare it private. I have amended the tags on these sections.

I removed the wood as no evidence can be seen on imagery. It can be seen that this is an area of bare rock close to a glacier so there shouldn't be a wood here.
Further I can see no link to your changeset comment that this is part of a HOT schools project.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
You've placed Greenwich House over a service road. Is the house split? Should the road be shortened? Is there a tunnel or passageway?
Could you please have a look at this problem, if you need help with a correction please just ask.
Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Sorry to say you've placed the POI a long way from Shelton Street. I don't know exactly where 71/75 is so can't move it myself.
Could you please correctly position the POI?
Thanks Bernard.

Hi, I'm glad to have helped.

A simple check of routes can be done easily, go to :-http://ra.osmsurround.org/ insert the relation number from your relation list below (10943934), insert the relation type (route).
Click on 'Analyze' you should get this page :-http://ra.osmsurround.org/analyzeRelation?relationId=10943934&_noCache=on which looks good.

Hope that's OK, Regards Bernard.

Hi Rob, Construction road now removed.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Your contribution is very good but it could be better by removing Way: 680685164 (construction=residential, highway=construction), which is joined to your new road.
Would you like me to remove the construction highway?

Regards Bernard.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that you have been duplicating a lot of highways instead of just editing them.
I've removed all the duplicate I can see in this changeset so no problems now.
Regards Bernard.

Hi Piers,
Yes there is a great deal to learn in OSM mapping, I'm still learning new things after 10 years.
I had known that path was a public right of way but only from copyright sources which are not to allowed to be copied to OSM. With your first hand knowledge you can add more specific data. Typically a Suffolk footpath could be tagged :- designation=public_footpath
foot=designated
highway=footway
prow_ref=?????? FP ?
source:designation=suffolk_county_council_prow_gis_data
source:prow_ref=suffolk_county_council_prow_gis_data

Some Rights of Way Data for the County of Suffolk can be found here :-Rights of Way Data for the County of Suffolk
Suffolk Definitive Maps to get path numbers are here :-https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/public-rights-of-way-in-suffolk/view-definitive-maps-of-public-rights-of-way/

Being a Rambler myself it will be good to have more Rights of Way added to OSM properly. If you need any help please just ask.

Regards Bernard.

Hi Thomas,
Glad to help. Thanks for adding the extra piece of path.
Regards Bernard.

Hi,
Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I've removed foot=designated as that is implied by highway=footway, also removed access=no because highway=footway implies no other traffic except foot traffic should be there.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I just wanted to point you to page :-leisure=golf_course
which sets out an accepted manner for OSM tagging of golf courses.
I've made a few tweaks to the mapping you've already done, golf features and the footpath you had going through the houses.

Regards Bernard.

Hi Mac, I just looked at it again and now see exactly what you describe. I had established that movement before and that new mapper Ben Fica had somehow inadvertently moved the node when adding a node.

Those situations are usually easy to revert in one step. I couldn't revert this one in one step, it left am extra line to be deleted. I've made the change (in my Changeset: 83061320), it looks OK now. Please check though.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I've amended the path tags to suit OSM practice, joined some up, removed name that seem to be descriptions rather than formal names.
It would be good if you could map how the park paths join to the outside highway network.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

If the road has been finished and now open to public use the the construction=residential tag can be removed.

Hi AlexRiabtsev,
Please have a look at the actual changes you'll see they were all in a small area in the middle of Thrissus, India. I was removing duplicated highways in India, (there are hundreds,I recently saw a request for help to remove duplicates). When doing this sort of editing try to purposely limit change-sets to a small area, so if I make a mistake it can easily be reverted.

In this changeset I had initially orthogonalised a building in London and forgot to upload it before moving my attention to problems elsewhere, (maybe I stopped for a cup of tea). Anyway apologies are due which I humbly extend.

If I may say because I do not make many alterations in any changeset my changesets are very easy to understand. Simply open a new layer in JOSM, don't load any data, revert the changeset and all edits in that changeset can be seen. It only takes seconds. Remember though not to upload the reversion.

Was there anything particular in the changeset that caused you concern?

Regards Bernard

Hi, I've reverted this changeset as it contained several mistake leading to serious disruption of routeing.

Hi Dave, I just wanted to point out a few things to you early on, to help you to help OSM. No I'm not local, I add survey data on my local walks (Norfolk), Also watch the whole UK to correct duplicate highways which can disrupt routeing and any obvious inconsistency of data.
Regards Bernard.

Hi Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Thanks for adding the new footpath, I've made a few tweaks to better display it.
East end you drew it going through a house, I've amended it to up the lane a bit.
West end I removed a duplicated section where you inadvertently backtracked the line.
I removed the crossing as I doubt there is a formal crossing point there, (the path doesn't actually cross the road anyway).
Also moved the path line off of the pond.
Regards Bernard.
