Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

The definitive map, (https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/asset-library/imported/Crowfield.pdf), shows that the footpath you've removed is a public right of way.

The definitive map and statement are legal documents and do not show that this path has been extinguished. It can only be removed by a Definitive Map Modification Order, DMMO after the due process of application. Are you sure it's been extinguished? Or has the land owner merely decided not to recognize its existence?

Hi, This changeset dragged lots of highways out of alignment. I think I've corrected all of the problems.

Please try not to do this as it seriously disrupts routing. Making smaller changesets (10/20 changes, there are 60 here), would allow you or others to more easily put right mistakes.

Hi, That's a strange name for a hospital, could you point to a website for the facility please?

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Caroline Place is not a one-way street, it is a no-through road. If it were oneway vehicles would enter but not be able to get out.

The changeset/152286411 is still open so I cannot leave a comment there for you. Please remove all the oneway tags.

Regards Bernard.

Hi MacLondon, I just noticed that there is a duplicated section of cycleway. Namely Way: Hoe Street (1277857277) on top of Way: Hoe Street (662493479). Each is a member of a different route relation. There are more similar duplications on these cycleways to the south on Hoe Street, please see:- https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=routing&lon=-0.01572&lat=51.57772&zoom=19&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicated_edges%2Cduplicated_edges%2Cduplicated_edges_areas

I'm not local so I thought you might be the person to look at this problem.

Hi, It's easy to square the buildings up.

Select the building, right click, click the square icon, (shortcut Q).

Your mapping will better reflect ground truth.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

From the wiki "natural=beach" should only be used for inclined, wave formed areas at the coast. Thus for OSM this is not a beach. Would the tag leisure=swimming_area be OK? With a description tag =(whatever the area is used for)?

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

There are17 warnings given above about disconnected highways. I've joined several paths that you mapped as crossing over each other without joining. I think all is well now.

Hi, I've reverted 3 changesets to correct the tracks and both relations to their former state.

Your link above doesn't work for me. If you can give info on the SUW diversion and any links, I'll amend the SUW route relation.

Hi, Is the tertiary highway Waterlow (26209882), really changed to a highway under construction?

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

You've somehow moved a Cross Rail junction node and joined it to a footpath, I've reverted this change.

What are you trying to achieve, can I help? If you are testing how OSM works, please don't upload the test as OSM is a live worldwide database. Such changes could seriously affect map rendering and routing.

Hi, I'll be glad to help.

There is a proposed route relation for a Mountain Bike trail that shares this section of tracks with the SUW. So I think it would be best to revert your changes and start again. Reverting changes and amending route relations is very tricky with the iD editor. This work is best done with the JOSM editor. I use JOSM so can do this editing easily. Is this OK?

Could you send your recording of the trip please. You can do this by clicking on my user name, then click send message.

Hi, Sorry to say you've made some mistakes here with the Southern Upland Way, one section now goes through a building. There is duplication of highways at another section and strange track alignments.

Has the SUW been diverted at the farm buildings? I can find no verification of this, the SUW online maps show the way as on the tracks SW of the buildings.

The original route of the SUW does not pass through the curtilage of the farm buildings so I can see no reason for a detour.

Could you please explain the reason for the your changes to the SUW?

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
It's difficult to discern the precise positioning of these highways as the imagery available to OSM as yet does not show the highways. What you've mapped is a very good start though. Perhaps you could correct/amend later when imagery of the new roads is available, (might be quite a wait).

One thing to note is that these two highways are islands not routable from Sywell Road as that is all tagged as construction. A highway under construction is not normally open to the public. I suspect that part of the road from Sywell Road to Lilac Way is open for public use. If so that section should have the construction tags removed and if possible be named.

Need any help please just ask. Regards Bernard.

Please be careful, you have just tagged a river and a long boundary as a highway. This seriously disrupts routing. I've removed the highway tags.

Regards Bernard.
