| 112923709 | about 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Pretty good mapping on your first go. I've just squared the building up to make them look smarter. In the iD editor highlight the feature/building, right-click it, click the square icon. Regards Bernard. |
| 112862266 | about 4 years ago | Hi, There are many gaps in the hedge line and some parts are fences anyway.
Thus I've removed the hedge tag. Regards Bernard. |
| 112791005 | about 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. The name is on the area outline so no need for the POI. Duplicate name removed. Regards Bernard. |
| 112777472 | about 4 years ago | Hi, http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/ tick/untick to show the layer you want. Need any help please just ask. I regularly look for and correct inadvertent mistakes. Keeps an old codger busy and alert. |
| 112573635 | about 4 years ago | Hi, You placed your two nw motor_vehicle=no highways on top of existing highways making duplication. Actually, there is no restriction for vehicles right up to the barrier. The barrier is the restriction for vehicles, which is tagged to allow non-vehicle access. The turn restrictions at the junction of Mokyll Croft and Ashdown resticting vehicle access to Ashdown are also incorrect. So I've removed the duplicated highways, removed the incorrect turn restrictions, and improved the barrier tagging to allow foot, cycle, and wheelchair access, but not any vehicle access. Regards Bernard. |
| 112550137 | about 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. It has been established that there is a private track here and that it is appropriate to add it to the OSM database.
Thus I've reinstated the track. Regards Bernard. |
| 112368006 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Regarding the tag maxspeed=30 mph on Node: 9164585042. If there is a max speed on the road the tag should go on the highway, not an individual node. As it is the max speed is not a restriction to the highway speed. Regards Bernard. |
| 112267747 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. How does the service road get through your new fence? Is there a gate, or a gap in the fence? Need any help please just ask here. Regards Bernard. |
| 112189959 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your POI was a duplicate, I've added the new info to the original POI as per OSM practice. Regards Bernard. |
| 112164008 | over 4 years ago | Hello, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Is the Pumpkin House really now a cafe? Or is it still a seasonal stall to sell pumpkins? I can find no reference on the internet to suggest there is a permanent cafe here. If there is no permanent feature here then the cafe POI should be removed. Regards Bernard. |
| 112107898 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Your best way to remedy a problem like this is to report it to the County Highway Authority, they have a duty to ensure PRoW's are fit for use. Here is a link to make a report:- https://tinyurl.com/3m7ubb8k Regards Bernard. |
| 110352240 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Please check before uploading. This highway was mostly duplication. I've corrected it. Regards Bernard. |
| 111926472 | over 4 years ago | Sorry, my mistake. |
| 111936517 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreeMap. I've removed the ford tag from the path (Way: 923154826) and tweaked all the building tags/outlines. Regards Bernard. |

| 111764396 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Thanks for responding to my changeset/111767089, please be aware that the maps and data on HM land Registry are Crown Copyright as is stated on their maps. Therefore using information from that site to map onto OSM breaches copyright and should not done. Quote "OSM contributors are reminded never to add data from any copyrighted sources (e.g. Google Maps or printed maps) without explicit permission from the copyright holders."
The fact that a feature on OSM is private is not a reason to delete it. OSM shows ground truth be it public or otherwise. In any case, virtually all land in the UK is owned in some way so could be called private. You mention that the track I reinstated is a driveway, so it is by your statement a valid feature for including on OSM. It would be correct to amend the track tagging to show access=private or agricultural, (which will indicate there's no public access). Thus I've reverted your changesets. The OSM database is back as it was with no infringement. I hope you can understand the concern. Regards Bernard. |
| 111764396 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Your additions are great, however, you somehow deleted a track. I've reinstated that track so no harm done. Can you please say what is the HMLR dataset or preferably link to it? Thanks. Regards Bernard. |
| 111737697 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. You added the opticians data to the whole building which I doubt is correct. I've placed the data on a POI. Regards Bernard. |
