| 110393450 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've reverted this changeset because the changes removed the status of a highway and cycleway. The way is part of two national cycle routes and is also an unclassified highway maintained as such by NCC highways authority. The way serves as access through and to property along the way. Yes you personally may have opinions of the access and OSM respects this. But OSM records the on-the-ground status, thus restrictions to the way have been properly tagged. With this individuals can decide the suitability of proceeding along the way. You would be welcome to add a note=? or description=? tag with your opinion. Regards Bernard. |
| 110352209 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Requested review, with respect, the driveway was correctly tagged so could not have been accidentally taken for a right of way. I don't know the reason you removed it but it's not OSM practice to delete objects for personal reasons. If this is your own driveway, that you regard as private then please add the tag access=private. This will describe the highway as not accessible by any means. I've reinstated the way, if you need help please just ask. Regards Bernard. |
| 110308039 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Just to let you know there's no need for data to be duplicated on a building and a POI. I've made minor amendments. Regards Bernard. |
| 110308644 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Just to let you know, the address data you added is already mapped, it's in the addr:interpolation tag. Regards Bernard. |
| 110122840 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Just adding a point to make it easier to find is not allowed in OSM. You should add and correctly tag something physical, on the ground, and verifiable. What is a post guard (pos jaga)? Could you please remove this point, tag it as per OSM practice (a name only is not enough), or covert it to a verifiable object? Need any help please just ask.

| 110139523 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I wonder is it the short section of highway that's named St Peters Mews or the building? The name could be added. Secondly, it would be good to add the gate as that's a physical barrier to the highway. Need any help please just ask.

| 101072185 | over 4 years ago | Hi, you did actually add two new nodes and moved three other nodes belonging to that grass area, thus an edit to the way was recorded in this changeset.

| 101072185 | over 4 years ago | Hello There,
To try to answer your point though I didn't say you added a fictional name. I said I removed a fictional name, this was a courtesy to let you know of the change. I wish now that I hadn't said anything, you likely would not have noticed. I saw the name whilst casually looking through this changeset. There is, as I said a strip of grass, Way: 705546887 between two other grass areas. It was tagged landuse=grass, name=Verge, I removed the tag name=Verge. Please I don't want to get into any arguments as to the other points you've raised. May I just quote from OSM guidlines though "Verifiability is an important concept to OpenStreetMap. OSM data should, as far as is reasonably possible, be verifiable. This is a good practice guideline covering all mapping activity and a policy governing choices we make about which tags are used and gain acceptance, and other aspects of data representation. It essentially means another mapper should be able to come to the same place and collect the same data ("verify" the data you have entered)". Would you like to revert the change or would you like me to? Regards Bernard. |

| 110069514 | over 4 years ago | Hello Sebastion,
If you're thinking of more than just the occasional edit to OSM then I'd strongly suggest using the JOSM editor. It's the best there is. Drawing a terrace of houses is easy. Draw one overall shape (automatically squared up), open the terrace menu, choose number of units, the type, the street, how they are numbered. One-click all done. If you need any help please just ask me or on the forums, click my OSM name above to send a message if you wish. Regards Bernard. |
| 110037870 | over 4 years ago | Hi, I'm very sorry I did indeed try to look into this quite thoroughly but was only able to establish that Dougism was a fiction. Indeed often a quite crude if not rude fantasy. If you can show some form of verifiability as to the physical on the ground presence of the feature then I would indeed reconsider. The POI was in private farm grounds, only open one minute a week, all very suspicious. I welcome you to show me wrong and I'll apologise profusely. Regards Bernard. |
| 110069514 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I tweaked the buildings as they are all joined together and the same size. Regards Bernard. |
| 110060046 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. If there is a locked gate it's better to map that gate rather than tag the path as access=no because there would surely be access to the gate from either side of the gate. Regards Bernard. |
| 110058063 | over 4 years ago | I made a mistake, (I forgot to upload an edit when I stopped for tea), is that hate or merely someone trying to help? You choose whatever you wish, it will be your decision, you will have to live with it. For myself, I will never hate anyone, ever, for any reason. The edit over a large area was a mistake, however, it makes nothing worse. It may require a bit more thinking but that's all. You may even gain from the experience. Sincere Apologies Bernard. |
| 110037870 | over 4 years ago | Fiction removed. |
| 109926090 | over 4 years ago | Hi, you added bridge tags to all the path sections, about three-quarters of a mile, no problem I've removed those tags. Regards Bernard. |
| 109713928 | over 4 years ago | No response so I've reverted the school outline off of the path. Regards Bernard. |
| 110003297 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I tweaked the address a bit to go with OSM practice. If you want to add the flat numbers and maybe entrances there is some guidance here:- addr:flats=* Need any help please just ask.

| 109980677 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Why do you keep deleting areas, it can clearly be seen that the meadow areas were separated by highways? If they need amending please amend the existing features thus keeping the history. Please don't connect new areas and fences to highway centerlines, this is not ground truth. Please respond to comments on your changesets.
