over 4 years ago | Hi, These two ways don't really make much sense. Could you say what you're trying to map? Maybe I can help? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap. Number 6 is in there but it's not the number for the whole block. Counting up the houses from areal imagery I've terraced the block and numbered it. Please (if you're local) check the numbering is correct. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Thanks for the prompt, corrected.I don't know how I left those highway tags on the old rail line, it wasn't the intention but was my mistake. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi.Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Motor vehicles can be clearly seen on aerial imagery on Stories Mews, there's also a 20mph speed limit. This suggests that there is motor vehicle access. I would say the tagging should be access=private and remove the tag motor_vehicle=no. This would restrict vehicle access to private use. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, I removed the residential area because it's inside of an existing residential area making duplication. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, I removed the name=driveway tag. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, I've removed the bridge tag from the path. Regards Bernard.
| 110680749 | over 4 years ago | Hi Luke,
Regards Bernard. |
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've reinstated the deleted objects. Please amend/correct existing mapped objects rather than delete and remap. Thus all history is maintained. I added your new info to the old slipway. Has the pier actually been removed? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Embankment removed.
over 4 years ago | wall removed
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. That was a temporary restriction last year. I've now removed the restriction as it's no longer relevant. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Just to let you know that you inadvertently remove the maxspeed=30 mph tag from Unthank Road. I've added back the maxspeed tag and added a driveway tag to the service road as that is a service road only serving the properties on it. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, there's quite a few more need squaring up, zoom right in and you can be more accurate. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've removed your tag building:levels=0. A building must have some level? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Is the clothes shop Whistles still trading from the building? If the building is of more than one occupancy then the building address should be on the building outline. All other data (multiple businesses) should be on individual POI like Whistles is at the moment. I think you've made a mistake with building:levels=55, should it be 5 levels? Regards Bernard.
| 110566909 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I wonder is this your company office premises, or can the public visit you here?
Regards Bernard. |
over 4 years ago | Hi, Postboxes are publicly accessible amenities. Are you sure these are post boxes? Or are they addresses of the houses? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | No response to this comment so I've remove the name only POI.
over 4 years ago | Hi Ivan, No problem yes there's a lot to learn, and I know you meant well with your amendment. The width here is tagged as maxwidth=6'6" This means that any vehicle over 6'6" is prohibited by law. In practical terms, it means that any vehicle wider than for example a Toyota land cruiser, (which is a fraction under 6'6", 2m), is not allowed. Unfortunately most folk don't know the width of their vehicle myself included, so for the most part common sense must rule. This page:- osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Narrow_width gives advice and reasoning as to why not to use a narrow tag. There is no OSM tag for a sharp bend (or any bend). Note and description tags are not rendered but you can add one saying "Sharp bend at Swan Street into Tunn Street. Regards Bernard.
