over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I just wanted to let you know that in most cases, in the absence of a oneway= tag, it is implied that there is no oneway restriction. Therefore oneway=no in these edits is not needed and can be removed. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, There are now two traffic signals and two pelican crossings on the one point, they are Node: 8957717927 a crossing, Node: 637030054 a signal, Node: 8957717925 a signal, and Way: 968226837 another crossing. As you've recently edited here I wonder if you could look to rectify the problem? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Please, when something needs correcting/amending do this to the existing features rather than just delete as all past history is lost with deletion. I've reinstated the deleted building and amended the data to reflect your changes. Please check that the data is correct. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, You can of course map multipolygons as you describe above, but not as you previously mapped the bunkers. There is brief advice here:-leisure=golf_course at the page bottom. It's really not necessary to make multipolygons of the rough and bunkers. The way features are displayed is up to the renderer. Have a look here:- osm.org/search?query=London%20Golf%20Club#map=14/51.3455/0.2892&layers=N well mapped without multipolygons. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, There seems to be duplication here, a section of the A1(M), Way: 966242385 on top of Way: 4048397. There are also a couple of single untagged nodes Node: 8939387101 and Node: 8939387102 that look like they should be joined to the highway. Then the lights Node: 8939387103 are also not joined to the highway. Could you have a look please? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, golf=path isn't a recognized tag. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Some of your ways are tagged twice as paths, golf=path and highway=path. It doesn't really make logical sense to have two path values on the same way. I wonder if you are meaning to indicate that the way is a highway=path and golf=cartpath, if so please see here:- golf=cartpath Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Could you please add descriptive comments to your changesets? This will help folk and yourself to understand what has been done. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | It would be really good if you would limit the number of features edited or amended in each changeset, about 10 is much better. Here you've edited 99 features. This would help you track what you're doing and conform to OSM good practice. Regards Bernard.
| 108705044 | over 4 years ago | Hi,
There's no need to create multipolygon relations of the bunkers, they are merely simple polygons, (can be drawn with a single line/way) and not parts of multipolygons. I've deleted the 3 multipolygon relations and amended/corrected the bunkers. Regards Bernard. |
over 4 years ago | Hi, Your changes included deleting parts of several areas resulting in many instances of self-intersection. I've reverted all the ones that I can see, thus reinstating the original outlines. I see you completely deleted 14 other ways. I now wonder if these have also disrupted original areas. Could you please have a look at your deletions to see if amendments are needed? Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | No response so I've removed the advertising description and indication that the public can visit this location.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap, you asked for feedback in your diary entry, here goes. You can easily square up buildings, (or other features), with the iD editor. Select the building, (Shift+Ctrl to select multiple buildings), right mouse click (while cursor is over the outline), click the square icon, all are squared up. They should look much neater. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, You've once again tagged residential areas inside of a larger residential area. That's surely unnecessary duplication. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, You tagged these roads as bridge=yes. I take it this was a mistake so I've removed the tags. Regards Bernard.
| 108504252 | over 4 years ago | Hello, OpenStreetMap is an ongoing worldwide database from which many maps are compiled and rendered.
If you need help mapping some features please just ask, Regards Bernard. |
over 4 years ago | Forgot to say I looked at the website and could not determine any particular cuisine.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Shisha bar is not a cuisine, so I've tagged it as a description. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. It would be better for OSM practice to limit the number of ways edited in a single changeset. Then other folk can more easily follow what you're doing. I've made quite a lot of amendments to areas and highways that this changeset edited, because of the changeset size I don't know if the problems were attributed to your good self. Regards Bernard.
over 4 years ago | Hi, No need to duplicate data on a building and a POI. I've consolidated the data to the building. Also, postcodes use capital letters. Regards Bernard.
