almost 5 years ago | I quite agree with you, it was a mistake and I said sorry. I again apologise and state that I am sorry. I don't understand how you can consider my saying I'm sorry to folk is an act that "needlessly notified them". If I make a mistake I always accept it and say sorry, it's being polite. I am now sorry that I might have further offended you, May I please say sorry. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Sorry about that but only five clicks would show you what's been changed. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, This is not a building so I've removed the building tag. It looks like a lorry parking area, so I've tagged it as such. If you have better data please amend it to correctly describe the area. Regards Bernard.
| 101764416 | almost 5 years ago | Hi,
Regards Bernard. |
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've tweaked the residential outlines to better reflect what's on the ground and unjoined them from highways. Tidied up highways, some were duplicated. I'm not sure you highways classifications are correct. If in doubt just tag as unclassified, they can be amended later by someone with correct, preferably on the ground, data. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Are you sure that path is permissive access to pedestrians? It seems to go from a public highway to a publicly accessible park/recreation ground. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, no response so I've corrected the problems by removing duplicates and unjoin from railway line. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Any chance of correcting these duplicated sections of highways? They could well be disrupting routing. Just say if you need help. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. You've made a few little mistakes here. The Way: Foot Tunnel (919434497) is placed on top of Way: 191509235 making a duplicated highway, they are joined together but tagged as differing layers. Both of these ways are then joined to the railway by a level crossing. A tunnel should not join to a feature above or below it, except at its endpoint. I've not corrected the problems so that you can see them. If you wish I can easily make corrections. Need any help please just ask. Regards Bernard.
| 101510281 | almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
As far as I'm aware the service is rarely interrupted the exception being a very high tide. Regards Bernard. |
almost 5 years ago | Hi, I wondered f the steps, Way: 919311468, joined to the path in some way, or are they isolated? Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I see you've, probably inadvertently, joined this new footpath to the river. There should be a ford here or the highway should be section up to tag a bridge over the water. I also see your path crosses over three sections of private service highway without joining. Probable also a mistake. Could you look to remedy these anomalies, please? If you need help please just ask. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi welcome to OpenStreetMap. I removed a section of the path placed on top of an existing track highway. Tagged that section of track as foot=yes. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, CU32 and other similar descriptions are purely county council references and not formal names. There are not usually formal names for most such ways. Occasionally PRoWs do have formal names, like byway CE9 which is formally named Golf Lane. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hello. I've removed your fictional motorway. Please behave responsibly and not vandalize OpenStreetMap. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I've reinstated the track as it's a feature clearly visible on several aerial images. I believe the section from the road at S, then extending NW is actually a public footpath. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Quite a few problems here especially with multipolygons and polygons that were disjointed, self-intersecting, and joined to highway centerlines. I think I've repaired most of the problems. Please take care to check before uploading and correct the warnings of errors. Also please be aware that landuse areas don't usually extend to highway centerlines, it makes for very difficult later repairs or amendments. It's better and easier to upload much smaller changesets, about ten objects or features at a time is good. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | Hello, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. It looks like you are having some problems learning OSM mapping. Some feature you added look like fiction. Everything in OSM must be genuinely on the ground and verifiable. Would you please take some time to better understand OSM mapping and tagging? Please also go back over what you've added and correct or remove it. If you need help please just ask. Regards Bernard.
almost 5 years ago | fiction removed
almost 5 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Well done, I corrected that person's other two mistakes years ago but must have missed this one. Regards Bernard.
