Changeset When Comment

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
I've reverted this changeset because you inadvertently doubled up the road Broadstone Drive and dragged the track at north out of position.
I assume you have knowledge that Broadstone Drive is now in use so I've made your tagging amendments to it.
Regards Bernard.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Just wanted to say please when mapping a bridge don't also map the path across the water. Both path and bridge are highways mapping both over the water is duplication. Please section to path at the bridge so only one highway crosses the water.
Regards Bernard.

Hi, Please don't add name tag that is a note or description. I added access=agricultural tag.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, I've removed several sections of footpath you added named Essex Way plus the fictitious bridge. Reason being is because you mapped them on top of existing ways, making duplication of highway. If a way needs to be amended it's always best to amend the existing way, not make a duplicate, nor delete and replace the existing way.

Anyhow the Essex Way is mapped in a route relation which includes those section you duplicated, it's here :- https://tinyurl.com/y6lmeq9e So no need to add it again.

Hi, I removed the duplicated section of highway, (part of path AKE 7/1 that was drawn on top of the service road). Also changed name tag to ref.

Hi, I changed the name= tag to osm.wiki/Tag:ref=, those are council reference numbers not names.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
The addition wasn't quite right so I've amended it for you.

Regards Bernard.

Hi, No sorry (just shows anyone can make mistakes, I must look/think twice). Only needs one passage tag, I've removed the covered tag, tunnel=building_passage implies it is covered.

Hi, sorry I should have said Welcome to OpenStreetMap and I ought to have mentioned this page in the beginning :- tunnel=*
I've tweaked the path to suit OSM tagging.

Hi, I've removed several self crossing way instances on bare rock areas around the islands.

Hi then the tag is access=private. But then it would mean deliveries cannot be made by vehicle.

89048051 over 5 years ago

Hi, you've tagged as layer=-1 but is there a passage way through the building. Then is it layer=-1 across to the highways each end?
Regards Bernard.

89045966 over 5 years ago

Hi, tagging this as layer=1 means the walkway is above the buildings, is this correct?

89047081 over 5 years ago

Hi, again the must be some access here as there are cars at the buildings.

89047367 over 5 years ago

Hi, you've drawn the highway through a building and attached it to the corner of another building. Access=no must be incorrect as there are vehicles at the houses. So there's at least private access. Could you rectify the problems please.

regards Bernard.

Hi, Is there a passageway with foot use through the building? Also does the layer=-1 extend to the joining highway center lines?

88971463 over 5 years ago

Hi, I amended steps off of road center line.

Hi,
Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
Requested review, a few things I can see wrong which are inadvertent mistakes. It's good to learn by having a go though.
1 I doubt if the tunnel extends from the road Helinski Square to path Randall Rents. Is it part path, part tunnel?
2 I doubt tunnel is steps all the way.
3 the actual tunnel section I think is better described as tunnel=building_passage.

If you ned help please just ask.
Regards Bernard.
