Your 'Meeting Point' POI is meaningless to the OSM database, further OSM is not the right place for personal data. Features added to OSM must be verifiable to everyone on the ground if they visit the place.

Have the two banks that you deleted actually ceased trading here?

Regarding 'Way: 62217212', the tag highway=service can be used to describe an area delimiting a space used as the highway. In actual fact this area is now used for parking cars. It is likely that PinkDuck the original mapper has more info on the status of the area.

Regarding 'Way: 75639526', I last walked this way about two weeks ago. My knowledge of the way being a track used by agricultural vehicles spans more than ten years.

For these reasons I've reinstated the removed tags.

Hi, I have Removed some grass areas from highway center lines. The grass does not grow over asphalted highways. It stops at the edge not the center line.

I've made amendments to four of your water areas in this changeset, those with islets in them. I've removed self intersections, tagged inner areas as islets, created multipolygons. Errors are now rectified and the features are now rendered correctly.

In this changeset you have deleted 70 features mostly these are highways including Inamaluwa-Sigiriya Road. This is extremely disruptive to the map of Sri Lanka.

Because you have removed so much data and all the associated history data I think it would be best to revert this changeset entirely. This unfortunately means you would lose the features you added. But this is the only way to reinstate the deleted highways with their history intact.

A reversion must be done quickly before to many other changes are made involving associated features, (minimising conflicts of data). I can do the reverting if you wish, please respond ASAP?

Hi, Thanks for responding. It's OSM practice when features change or need moving/adjusting to amend the original mapped feature. Thus the full history of the mapped feature is kept. Deleting a feature remove all history related to that feature.

Reverting changesets is difficult for new mappers and likely to make further problems.
So I've reverted this changeset for you and then moved the original slipway, (adjusting joining features to suit). I kept the change you made to The Nettles area.
