HTML Map Link

Posted by AndreasM2000 on 4 June 2021 in German (Deutsch).

Hello,

I want to show a map in an other program (3DVista) to show customers the position of the hotel. So I copy the HTML code and put it into this program. When I activate it and show it in the internet the map is to see but not the map marker. Is the problem known? Can I do anything?

best regards Andreas Moeller, Berlin, Germany

Use the ‘share’ button (right side, 6th from the top), check the ‘Include marker’ checkbox, then copy the link in the text entry. Open another tab, paste the link, and make sure the pin is in the shown map. Otherwise try again. Also, you need JS enabled on the site (I mention this just in case you, like me, have JS disabled by default).

Once you got this right, click the ‘HTML’ button and copy the HTML code. Mine looks like this:

<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://www.openstreetmap.org/export/embed.html?bbox=6.619949340820313%2C43.431481174475%2C7.4810028076171875%2C43.795384706021096&amp;layer=mapnik&amp;marker=43.613708194816596%2C7.05047607421875" style="border: 1px solid black"></iframe><br/><small><a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/?mlat=43.6137&amp;mlon=7.0505#map=11/43.6137/7.0505">View Larger Map</a></small>

Seems to be a satisfactory answer. This kind of pages should have a place to put some kind of like, unlike etc. emojis, similar to facebook or imdb. Anyway I am giving a thumps up imoji for this comment!
