over 2 years ago | Then it should be marked as private, not deleted.
over 2 years ago | disused=yes is generally an unpopular tag, but here it seems especially inappropriate. The meaning is essentially "exists but isn't in use, though it could be". The shop is gone for good. Any relevant tags can probably be deleted. Of course, as long as the building stands and could see a new tenant, building=retail is still approrpriate. Mapping features that are inactive has always been a point of contention and even expert mappers disagree frequently. However, if you want to map historical features in general, you might consider OpenHistoricalMap.
over 2 years ago | That's depressing, but I'm not surprised.
over 2 years ago | Hmm, a cinema called cinema? Doesn't seem right... node/3699518627
over 2 years ago | The plat has finally been recorded and it has Drive. Is an ACHD report in order?
over 2 years ago | Probably not necessary to check so often.
over 2 years ago | Tag "branches_in_your_face"? way/32870031
over 2 years ago | I don't believe Strahler numbers are appropriate for OSM. It can be calculated from the data. It is not in use anywhere else in the database as far as I can tell.
over 2 years ago | These buildings are of unacceptably low quality. Please retrace them, or else they will be removed.
over 2 years ago | As I don't see much in the way of amenities, I might even go all the way down to a hamlet.
over 2 years ago | I would not call Pomona Park a town. Places on OSM do not correspond to legal classification, but rather size and amenities. node/154048960
over 2 years ago | My bad... Made a bulk edit when I was new to OSM.
over 2 years ago | Well, turns out I didn't properly account for addresses I deleted between then and now and I readded them all. Oops! Still don't have a good way to account for them short of not touching the data at all.
over 2 years ago | Once a year seems pretty reasonable if it takes eight hours. Wonder how many street names will end up needing corrected.
over 2 years ago | Another good (widely used) option is to just create a node/point with a single house number and place it over the individual unit. One for each unit.
over 2 years ago | Oops, thank you for correcting. I was fixing the existing address but didn't realize I'd already duplicated it with the correct city.
over 2 years ago | Havre strikes me as a town, not a city node/151463250
over 2 years ago | This edit has several errors and needs to be reverted
over 2 years ago | Salmon is not a city by OSM standards. Too small, lacks a commercial airport and major hospital, and so on.
