| 155187107 | over 1 year ago | You should spend more time on review, error rate is a little high. I found these after a few minutes of searching Building is actually two separate buildings (home and garage/carport or shed): way/1307449954, way/1307450349,
Here you have the reverse problem: way/1307450065,
And the trailer park is demolished, what aerial photo did you use? It was out of date
And this building is demolished: way/1307451331 This building is a mess and should not pass muster at all, even if not wrong per se: way/1307451168 Some of them look like a human mistake but I think you approved others by accident. |

| 155127991 | over 1 year ago | PVT is not part of the name, it's just indicating the street is private |
| 155122413 | over 1 year ago | It has already been mapped |
| 155072583 | over 1 year ago | FWIW, it's probably better to outline the parking lot and name it "Visitor Center Parking" than to add it to the service road |
| 130709119 | over 1 year ago | Why make a pointless edit lowering data quality? It does not hurt anyone to map them as ways |
| 154790660 | over 1 year ago | You cannot use other maps as a source if they are protected by copyright. This includes Apple Maps. |
| 153480958 | over 1 year ago | Dino, your opinion does not reflect consensus. First, access=no should be used for military bases. Second, GPS is not required for all edits. Aerial imagery is an acceptable source of tracing and currently the primary source used for the vast majority of edits. Finally, appropriately licensed correct data should never be removed from OSM, even if it is illegal in a particular country, since OSM only operates under the laws of the UK. |
| 113058966 | over 1 year ago | Thank you, I did not see the discussion over there. It provides useful additional context. I don't think that just because the AI building is unchanged that it means it is an import, unless the building would be caught during manual review. I have seen areas where the AI detections are at least as good as a first pass by most mappers. Unless you have evidence of a high error rate that suggests some of the buildings were not manually reviewed, skquinn has indicated to the contrary that his editing process is more than just selecting a bunch of buildings and pressing "add". |
| 154674011 | over 1 year ago | It is not our fault that incompetent routing software and/or drivers do not respect our correct data. |
| 113058966 | over 1 year ago | Kinsio, it is only considered an automated edit if the AI data is not manually reviewed before upload. For example, if I were to download all MapWithAI buildings in an area, select the entire layer, and press "add", that would not be adequate review. If, however, I look at each building to confirm good alignment with aerial photo, then that is sufficient oversight. However, we are not perfect, so it is possible that we accidentally accept a building that we meant to reject, or we allow a poorly digitized building by mistake. Why do you believe that this changeset is in violation of the Automated Edits Code of Conduct? |
| 154000106 | over 1 year ago | Be careful not to connect landuse to boundaries, like Star city limits. It makes it harder to maintain. |
| 154618533 | over 1 year ago | abandoned=village is not recognized by most data consumers. place=locality would be a better choice. |
