almost 2 years ago | I thought the data was already on the buildings. Fixed and removed more businesses that have also closed
almost 2 years ago | Assessor says 2041
almost 2 years ago | Can't you just split it?
almost 2 years ago | Please don't add names like "Highway Fifty Nine" that duplicate ref tags like on way/19944737 unless there is also a directional or something to distinguish it.
almost 2 years ago | Why do you need to fully revert edits that don't properly split sidewalks? Can't you just leave them be, or split them if you need to? I get that you can add extra info when they are split along roadways but it's not really "wrong" to have them as loops. highway=* ways have never been interpreted as representing something discrete. They still are useful data. Reverting the whole changeset comes off as a threat, to me at least. With that said, it would be good to hear from Akshat.
almost 2 years ago | Spam will not be tolerated, especially as you have damaged correct existing data in the process.
almost 2 years ago | Check way/1158920232, address number seems to be of incorrect parity and out of order
almost 2 years ago | When looking at the website the listed address corresponds to node/3325932341. It already seems to have a different occupant though. https://newcastletraining.com
almost 2 years ago | Is this still called "Kinko's"? node/3940107186
almost 2 years ago | You didn't add a name
almost 2 years ago | You merged with the wrong building! Address is 1073 not 1069
almost 2 years ago | This is the third time a Zartico mapper has tagged this as a brewery. It is just someone's house! Cut it out.
almost 2 years ago | Because it was merged with the wrong building! These Zartico mappers are worse than Amazon...
almost 2 years ago | It's not your property. You don't own OpenStreetMap. It is mystifying how when a government allows someone exclusive rights to a property of land how many believe they have become the arbiter of reality. Anyone can make a map of your property, and even if it were illegal for them to do so (it's not) you have no recourse. With that said, deleting valid data is a form of computer vandalism, a felony crime. What Amazon does with the data they download is their problem. I know many of us mappers take issue with Amazon too, but it's none of our business if they use our data to make bad decisions. Furthermore, detailing your property is not done to "make a point". CurlingMan13 is probably trying to improve the quality so that Amazon does not trespass. Fences are fair game for the map. Even if it were about pettiness, you could just choose to give your neighbors the same mapping treatment.
almost 2 years ago | Welcome to OpenStreetMap! Note that the border does not need a label because it is part of a border relation with that information (more info on relations here: osm.wiki/Relation) I have removed these tags accordingly. Let me know if you have any questions.
almost 2 years ago | I didn't realize it was a new project. I was thinking about the new Bing aerial, which is 29 months newer
almost 2 years ago | I guess a lot of the tiles marked done are incomplete again, huh.
almost 2 years ago | Yes, it is a new pedestrian traffic signal. I did not add those tags, but I fixed to reflect the new construction. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
almost 2 years ago | I may be addicted. I'm up to 3000 now.
almost 2 years ago | Source for town's existence?
