I definitely make sure to disable features I'm not working on. I'll turn off streets when checking my work next time. I'll also draw the portion of sidewalk fronting each road separately. In my area, I just keep drawing until I make a loop or come across a gap. It works fine for us, but it does result in ridiculousness like way/884016012

I am new to mapping sidewalks in this level of detail and don't yet have a workflow for ensuring I remember to split the sidewalks along each street. If Cropsey was in the area for this task I must have somehow missed it when checking completion.

Not good sources. Many lead back to the same source. They have made the same expansion mistake as you. I know the area, the sign says "B Bar S Ln" with S clearly being part of the name

The road is meant to be disconnected. It was cut off due to construction but the rest of the road remains. Please revert this changeset

Google Maps and Apple Maps use a variety of proprietary sources. Apple Maps uses OSM data in some regions, but I don't believe this includes the U.S.

I recommend contacting Apple to see if they can fix the issue. I am not an Apple user so not sure of the best contact method.

Make sure to fully expand road names, including predirectionals (N Jackson Street -> North Jackson Street, N Columbine Street -> North Columbine Street) and do the same for feature addr:street as well
