Hi, thanks for looking this up for me. I happen to visit somewhere near osm.org/#map=18/6.12032/100.34306 - just this week - indeed there will be some adjustments to this multipolygon soon.

Alright. I've sent an email to the DWG.

You OK with revert @angys? If you agree, I can let the DWG help revert this.

131978591 almost 3 years ago

No worries. DWG knows things. It's better to let them do their things.

I'm all in to revert this - because sometimes it's better to wipe less than ideal data than scrubbing things one by one.

@angys - let me know if you're fine, I'll write an email to the Data Working Group, just let them do the dirty work.

That's why you need to actually mention the plan of this import to the community, it's not getting a Yes/No answer only. There might be some people that can help - an import may not be a one man job.

There's a lot of background stuff that should be done first, before hitting the upload button.

1 - Check the license. I believe it's (officially) under CC-BY. Yes - it's open data (that's what THEY said) but unless you have an official letter from related gov dept saying it's 100% to upload and distribute the data, then it's probably fine.

2 - Get the community to agree to add this data.

3 - Deal with any possible errors e.g. duplication of existing data and/or the simplest metadata structure (e.g. why the bus stop names is in all capitals?, probably many more)

At best, is try to alert the Data Working Group and let them resolve this (initial?) import work first.

This is an import, it should be discussed first

Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Thank you for your contributions. Care to share what references that you have been used to improve the map, please?

Nightmare continues... please adjust existing highways with respect to a more accurate imagery...

Remote mappers near or far, please go further fixing the mess. I believe Strava heatmap + Esri is probably close to 99% accuracy

Previously someone mapped these terraces (incorrectly) as parcels of residential landuse. I'd rather delete these...

Hi, I physically passed through the area last October, and these were my observations (see my photos here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/14Pox0bSY5P2h75HOzja9XKL8dtPq_k7P/view?usp=share_link)

You can drag these photos into the JOSM editor and it will point you around this area.

Hence I removed previously mapped highway links which actually are not physically separated in reality.

You may want to cross check with street level imagery made available through KartaView (from 2021) and Bing StreetSide (from 2017).

JOSM told me it's about 1000 objects being modified - let me know if I somewhat made a major boo boo
