E.g. non-existing "separated highways" which they are not, in reality. Why? I don't know. Some argued it's about "remodelling" and stuff.

Hi. Many thanks for the reply.

My interpretation for the word mosque (or Masjid in the Malay language) has something to relate with (structured) buildings. Not the landuse surrounding the mosques.

This can be extrapolated to smaller mosques tagged as 'Surau's here in Malaysia.

Any further discussions, simply blast your questions.

I provided those two examples, because I've been following the way how things were mapped (since I began mapping for OpenStreetMap in 2014).

Hello.

I wonder why tagging (name of) a mosque should be this way, instead of e.g.

1. way/5983916
2. way/241107520

... instead? Is there a discussion going on somewhere?

Many thanks for updating these structures: osm.org/go/4GooPcUB9--?m=

These happened to be an accommodation for tourists as well, hence, "building structures" was mapped by me after I visited there on 2016.

@angys:

You sure about that? Variety store is much like Eco-Shop or Zon Jimat where (almost) everything is sold at a flat price of RM 2.10 (or RM 5, RM 10, etc) in Zon Jimat.

99 Speedmart doesn't do that IIRC.

You might want to check your edit, apparently Sumatera went under water again

Who introduced them? Of course, absolutely non-local, remote mappers.

*well, except if roads under construction appear ready to traffic, then it's A-OK

Sorry for the interruption, but please proceed with your amendments. I'm not sure what was going on with this mapper, the last time there was problems coming from this same mapper as well.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

I rest my case: these kind of controlled access highway would somehow provide way in and out through (grade-separated) interchange, rather than a simple four-way junction.

91529068 about 5 years ago

*this completely controlled-access highway, still under construction

91529068 about 5 years ago

Are you really sure that these:
- node/7943139920
- node/7943139919

will somehow connect to one another, when this controlled-access highway will be completed sooner?

Remote mappers from afar, I'll be delighted to provide ground level proof to show that there are no separate "highway links".

Read this for context as well:

I'm happy to provide street level photos, if needed.

Sorry, way/763058445 was "upgraded" into a residential highway. And please check other edits as well, replacing ground truth checking.

Again, I believe Apple Data Team loves consistency, but ground truth suggest otherwise.

I'm not sure why this reclassification thing is still going on and on, wasting ground truth efforts.

91532951 about 5 years ago

Does way/707585955 look like a residential highway? See https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=794935#p794935

The road I was on is way/707585955

I wonder why ground truth edits from me were undid.

way/829318424 goes into a school ground. I wonder why it is mapped as a residential highway?

Quote:

We only map roads in OSM as dual-carriageway (two ways going in both directions) only if there is a physical barrier or median separating the two directions. If it's just a painted line, just map it as a single way in OSM.

Unquote. Such links should not be mapped.

One more thing: such areas are not placed under a military control too.
