This has been argued about for years now. There's no agreement between the landowners, and none pending. The Ferry remains closed and has remained so for some years now. It's very unlikely to re-open because the entity that bought the ferry is unwilling to pay the entity that owns the landing what the latter demands (a per-car fee).
