Oh found it. It runs under a block of shops (i.e the footpath is placed where it should be with the shops having a roof that extends further out). I'm sorta new so unsure if this is correct.

lcmortensen No, Grimseys Road (which I bike past each day to school) has a no bikes and pedestrians sign on entry to QEII drive. That is literally what a motorway is! Given once you turn left from Grimseys Road onto the motorway it is the roundabouts, your argument is flawed.
