Well ok but I wanted to point out the possibility. Cause good looking animations like ITO does make a lot of work. There is currently no good GIS animation tool.

There is www.osm-3d.org if you are looking in bigger towns e.g. Rostock you see a very low poly L1 model by extruding the building ways.

To get a higher level of details we would need 3D infrastructure that is able to store general models (e.g. a german bus station looks generally like this....) and that is able to respecify it for a given area (a bus station here in Rostock looks like this...).

But hey who has time for such a huge project?

Naja die Kommunikation in OSM ist ebend arg verteilt: Wiki, Mailinglisten, Foren, Blogs und zig direkte Kontakte. Letzten endes ist auch dann noch nicht sichergestellt, dass man alle erwischt hat. Aber ich denke das wird sich verbessern :D

Hihi branduss du bist hier auf einem weltweiten Blog ;) Zwönitz ist da nicht soooo bekannt :) Also wir verbreiten unsere Mapping Parties immer per Mailingliste und in Geocacher Foren, dann findest bestimmt jemanden.

Genau am besten von Geofarbik Deutschland runterladen und dann mit Osmosis mal nach Denkmälern filtern. Das kann man sich dann erstmal anschauen und bei Gefallen wie beschrieben umwandeln.
