Updated to keep inline with wikipedia version.

Cluttered

Seems horribly cluttered to me. It makes it hard to see where the documentation content which you are interested in reading actually starts versus all the meta-links related to the documentation.

Do we really need a "purge" link, a "history" link, and two different "edit" links, when such functions are all logically and naturally accessible by following the link to the /doc page?

...but I guess if we're syncing with wikipedia :-/

Background color

I suggest to change the background color to #CBEEA7 as discussed on Template_talk:Wfmessage#Green_colour. You can also see visual examples there. --Tigerfell This user is member of the wiki team of OSM (Let's talk) 20:09, 20 May 2022 (UTC)

Wikipedia link

I suggest to change the link "documentation" in line 17 ("This [[w:Wikipedia:Template documentation|documentation]] is...") to the OSM wiki template page [[Template:Documentation]]. So you won't immediately get to Wikipedia but stay here in OSM wiki. The link to Wikipedia could then be in the documentation of Template:Documentation. Could an admin please consider it? --Chris2map (talk) 12:57, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
