About this template

Use it to propose the deletion of a page (the removal of all content, and/or redirecting of the page).

The idea is to draw attention to a discussion about deleting a page. Using this label, you must also edit the corresponding talk page and explain why you are proposing the page to be deleted (that's the point of this label!)

Usage

Use this template with the syntax {{Delete proposal}} or better {{Delete proposal|Give your reason here}}.

• The label should appear at the top of the page, with the rest of the page contents remaining in place.

• Spam unrelated to OSM is better deleted using {{Delete|spam}}.

• This template adds all tagged pages into Category:Deletion Proposed.
