Venue
The conference was held at Abertay University in the city centre of Dundee.
Dundee is a small city in Scotland, lots of information is on wiki voyage: Dundee. Hotel booking offers, and sightseeing suggestions, were provided by Dundee Region information portal specific for the event, and SotMEu 2025 uMap showed key locations in the city.
Fringe events, self-organised activities and travel plans
Mapping Nature Walk and "Makers Gonna Make" hackathon fringe events took place. More details on the Discussion/Talk page.
Some people also used the talk page to share their plans for extra activities outside the conference, such as sightseeing in Dundee or other activities like hackdays on the day before or after the conference, and travel bookings to arrange travelling together.
