Summary
DescriptionSafety gate at pedestrian crossing of MAX Light Rail tracks near Orenco station.jpg
Safety gates for pedestrians (and cyclists) at a crossing of MAX Light Rail tracks near TriMet's Orenco MAX station, in Hillsboro, Oregon. These gates are manually operated, by pedestrians, and are only intended to slow people down enough that they will notice the warning sign and check for approaching MAX trains before proceeding to cross. They are held closed by magnets. This sign is on the west side of NE Century Blvd. (formerly NW 231st Avenue).
