English: information plaque Freshford Church reading "St. Lachtain founded a church here in 622 which was replaced by a larger one in the 12th century. The present church, a 1730 rebuilding, incorporates the 12th century Romanesque doorway. An inscription over the inner arch commemorates the builder (O'Cenucain) and patron (O'Kerwick) who caused it to be built. The 12th century shrine of St. Lachtain's arm is preserved in the National Museum".
