Central London as displayed within the old Java Applet which at this stage was showing Yahoo! Aerial Imagery as a background. OpenStreetMap data for central London only included a rudimentary street network at this stage. Green lines here indicate unwayed segments, a construct no longer supported in OSM data. These have no tags on them (the street names not collected yet)
This image was originally captured to illustrate Sector 1b of the London mapping party 2007, one of the earliest mapping events in the history of OpenStreetMap.
