English: Signal E35 controls movements of up trains from the South Devon Main Line into St Davids station at Exeter. It dates from the 1985 resignalling scheme. The straight ahead route is into platform 5 and is used by most trains to London and the North. The 'feather' lights on the left are for platform 6 which is mostly used by trains terminating at Exetrr from Paignton or Penzance. The lights on the right from top to bottom show routes to platforms 4 (seldom used), 3 and 1 (for services continuing to Exmouth). The subsidiary lights and route indicator on the left can be used for sunting moves into the various platforms and also to the train depot which is to the left of platform 6.
