Summary
| Description |
English: Signal W311 at Westbury in Wiltshire, a four-aspect filament-bulb signal installed in the 1980s. The theatre indicator is illuminated with a 'T' indicating that the route from platform 2 is set for the route to Trowbridge (for Bristol and Swindon) rather than the line towards London. Below this is a calling-on signal used for shunting moves and a stencil indicator which gives other routing information. Behind can be seen signal W411 which controls up movements from platform 1. This has two sets of 'feathers' to indicate whether the route is set to left (Trowbridge) or right (London). Signal W511 in the distance controls movements from the goods line on the east side of the platform and uses another theatre indicator for routing information. |
