| 67887265 | almost 7 years ago | Hey Danny,
|
| 67807004 | almost 7 years ago | Do you mind not deleting an actual existing-on-the-ground disused rail tracks in favor of a proposed railway that is still 5+ years away and that might not even be funded? At least until the tracks are ripped out?

| 67670536 | almost 7 years ago | Sounds good. I'll leave these to you.
Otherwise inevitably OSM police from Europe will show up and question your work. |
| 67640146 | almost 7 years ago | OK, I'll keep that in mind. |
| 67640146 | almost 7 years ago | Thanks. I see now it's pretty dirty indeed. Should've gone the task manager way.
|
| 67640146 | almost 7 years ago | Matt, do you have a list of problems so I can go through them? Danny, I've been importing minor city datasets for a while with local buy-in. Imported this one by extension. If you have concerns let me know. |
| 67234991 | almost 7 years ago | Are you sure there are no addresses between 236 and 248 on Paseo private? How do they name their units? ABCD? |
| 66885386 | almost 7 years ago | Yeah I mean house numbers 1275, 1279, 1283, etc are not there. If they ever show up no one will be able to find them. That's what interpolations are for. |
| 66885386 | almost 7 years ago | Hey Brandon,
|
| 66338571 | almost 7 years ago | SimonPoole: When an existing building has any meaningful tags I always replace geometry preserving history and existing tags. It's only when I encounter a cluster of `building=yes` without any other tags I would delete them. |
| 66338571 | almost 7 years ago | It's a high quality dataset from the city and it's square when the building is square and not square when the building is not square. PS: love your tools and use them all the time, thanks. |
| 66059780 | almost 7 years ago | Yeah good point. I missed that rule at first and kept dragging for a while. Will switch to import account going forward. |
| 65489620 | almost 7 years ago | I've never seen "highway=destroyed:path" used before. Taginfo doesn't know about it either: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/highway=destroyed:path The tag you are looking for is "smoothness=impassable". Or you can use "access=no" although I would just use impassable. |
| 65276201 | about 7 years ago | Please pay attention to your edits. Both your changesets in Ottawa make no sense |
| 64660575 | about 7 years ago | Hi Hans, I've noticed you've added some bike lanes as separate ways along Fisher. This is not how they should be mapped. Separate ways should only be used for separate infrastructure, which painted bike lanes or shoulders are not, as you know.

| 64183892 | about 7 years ago | I use osmcha to see what's going on around Ottawa. Helps reverse some bad changes by new mappers. Your changeset was flagged as suspect. |
| 64183892 | about 7 years ago | Seems like "leisure=dance" & "dance:teaching=yes" is more appropriate for dancing schools: leisure=dance
|
| 63984506 | about 7 years ago | Hi Heather, Avoid tagging footways with footway=sidewalk like this one: way/167701739 Our routing algorithm excludes sidewalks, so it's kinda important. Sidewalks run right next to the streets, usually narrow and concrete. |
| 63960393 | about 7 years ago | Yeah it moved. Fixed |
