Ich habe jetzt ganz zufällig mehrere changesets von dir gefunden (jeweils korrigiert und einen changeset-Kommentar hinterlassen), bei denen du im opening_hours tag Kommentare eingetragen hast. Vielleicht solltest du mal deine vergangenen Edits auf solche schrägen Einträge prüfen und Kommentare in Zukunft korrekt in fixme bzw. anderen dafür vorgesehenen Tags hinterlassen. Danke.

Ich bezweifle auch, dass deine speziellen Hinweise hier von irgendeiner Software korrekt ausgewertet werden. Mein Tipp: den Lesesaal als eigenen Node eintragen, der bekommt dann seine Öffnungszeiten.

Garmin devices let you set the amount of details to be shown and also the size of street and place names etc.

Also a map displayed in a browser window can show a larger amount of details and POIs without confusing the user. A GPS receiver would likely slow down when rendering all of this information.

In contrast maps built for Garmin devices are usually specialised on a certain task, e.g. a bicycle map might have a layer for contour lines, official cycle routes and also shows repair stations and other relevant POIs.

So just look for a build that covers your needs or build a Garmin map yourself.

It seems to me that you optimized the motorway links in a way so it’s easier to see on the map. That somehow conflicts with a basic OSM understanding that says “Don’t map for the renderer”. Sorry, the Good practice article isn’t (yet) available in (Brazilian) Portuguese.

Da muss man einfach dem Browser behutsam klar machen, dass neuere Daten auf dem Server liegen als die, die er bereits kennt. Cache des Browsers leeren sollte normalerweise helfen. Oder einfach mit gedrückter Alt- bzw. Optionstaste die Seite neu laden, um frische Tiles zu laden.

please don’t make up your personal tagging style. Tagging is not only for a specially rendered map (did you have a look at the bicycle layer at all and dedicated bike maps?) but it is as well needed for routing. And yes, there are maps (e.g. for Garmin) which rely on proper (read: not your individual) tags to work for all cyclists. You’ll find loads of information here -> Für Kartografen

Mapping a few available hints about streams makes a lot of sense, since this can help others as a landmark. So tag the bridge (or ford) plus just a few meters of the river or stream so that others get an idea about the direction in which the water flows.

Using your gpx files (or other files with the coordinates of your hike) the right coordinates can later be added to your photos, it’s really easy. If the camera’s clock isn’t set properly you can also fix the offset, exiftool works great for this.

Das sind öffentliche Daten, also keine Panik wegen Datenschutz. Hausnummern müssen auch vom Eigentümer sichtbar angebracht werden, dafür gibt es dann kommunale Bestimmungen. Wikipedia hat auch was dazu. Du nimmst ja nur Informationen auf, die du von öffentlichem Grund aus erkennen kannst, bei Fotoaufnahmen aus normaler Höhe greift die Panoramafreiheit.

Namen bei Wohnadressen (also von den Klingelschildern) würde ich allerdings wirklich weg lassen. Informationen zu Geschäften sind aber durchaus sinnvoll.

Wenn dich jemand entsprechend besorgt fragt, was du da vorhast: gutes Kartenmaterial ermöglicht z.B. Routing für Sehbehinderte, bietet genaue und aktuelle Informationen für Rettungskräfte (Anfahrtswege, Hydranten,…), und als Häuslebesitzer kann man diese Daten selbst frei verwenden: gedruckt in die Einladung, oder als Link in der E-Mail.

der Kommentar in deinem letzten Edit ist leider an der falschen Stelle hinterlegt, den eigentlichen Kommentar sollst du beim Speichern deiner Edits eintragen: ID (der Standard-Editor, wenn du Änderungen direkt im Browser einträgst) bittet dich beim Speichern deiner Änderungen um einen Kommentar (also wo du was neu eingetragen, korrigiert oder ergänzt hast) und um die Quelle/Source: sind es Daten, die du mit deinem GPS-Empfänger bzw. mit Notizen vor Ort gesammelt hast, ist “survey” richtig, vorhandenes Wissen wäre “knowledge”, aus dem Luftbild im Browser vermutlich “Bing” (die Bildquelle).

Momentan wird anhand der Liste deiner Edits nicht klar, was du gemacht hast. Siehe dazu auch den Link im vorigen Kommentar von Jedrzej.

Das OSM wiki ist dein Freund (wir auch, eh klar): hier gibt es eine durchsuchbare Liste, das finde ich immer sehr hilfreich.

Merke: nur weil du ein neues Detail eingetragen hast, heisst es noch nicht unbedingt, dass das auf der Standardkarte überhaupt berücksichtigt wird. “Fireplace” dürfte eher in einer Outdoor-Karte gerendert werden, und diese Spezialkarten werden meist etwas seltener aktualisiert.

Great, the legacy build works, it’s just not (jet) available from the usual download page. Would be great to have that version mentioned on that page since 10.6 is still widely used (due to its Rosetta support).
