Bitte bei der Umbenennung der Hindenburgstraße strikt nach den aktuellen Straßenschildern vorgehen und nicht nach Presseberichten; offenbar ist das Thema ja noch nicht ganz durch! Nach der Umbenennung kann der Hindenburg dann ja in old_name.

Bitte etwas vorsichtiger mit dem Begriff "Vandalismus". Eine vorschnelle Eintragung einer geplanten Umbenennung ist sicherlich keiner.

Die Logik erschließt sich mir nicht. Die Anwohner könnten doch auch klagen, nachdem die Straße bereits umbenannt ist. Damit will ich sagen: Wie die Straße heißt, ist unabhängig davon, ob noch Klagen ausstehen oder nicht. Was steht denn auf den Straßenschildern?

If you contribute a tram line with a 90° angle in it, and someone else makes you aware of the problem, you can either fix the problem or ask for help, but "sorry I won't fix it because of Piskvor" is childish. With my DWG hat on:

1. User ZeLoneWolf had initially not taken enough care to make sure that his approach isn't used in areas where it was not discussed with the community. This has meanwhile been remedied on the respective wiki page.
2. User Dimitar155 has not used enough care in following random Wiki instructions, has failed to discuss the matter with the relevant community, and at times also tried to disclaim responsibility ("I was just following someone else's orders").
3. User Tomas Straupis has been an absolute dick about this whole issue from the start (and that includes misrepresenting DWG's position on the issue for rhetoric effect on the mailing list). While his indignation is understandable, at no point has he tried to solve the conflict peacefully.

I would like to discuss this matter with the wider Lithuanian community, to avoid giving Tomas' words more weight than they are due. Is there a forum or medium that is not dominated by user Tomas Straupis where I can reach them?

Hallo hwb, ich melde mich wegen way/342613259 - diesen Weg hast Du vor 6 Jahren als "neu angelegt" mit grade3 erstellt. Der Weg ist jetzt eine Sackgasse, da er im Südosten auf Privatgrund trifft (das scheint seine Richtigkeit zu haben), jedoch sagt der Grundbesitzer, man solle ihn ganz löschen, es sei nur eine marode Rückegasse mit 50cm tiefen Wasserpfützen. Hältst Du das für plausibel - wenn es vor 6 Jahren noch "grade3" war?

Als Quelle gibst Du "local knowledge & Esri" an. Meinst Du damit das ESRI-Luftbild? Das hat ja keine Straßennamen, d.h. also Du kennst Dich in Bellinzona so gut aus, dass Du diese Straßennamen alle auswendig weißt, verstehe ich das richtig?

Please remove immediately all features that you have added to OSM and that do not correspond to the reality on the ground. Failing to comply could throw all your contributions in doubt and might lead to all of them being removed as unreliable.

Hi, in this changeset you have added a number of golf holes with supplemental information like par and handicap. Could you explain the source of this information (and make it a habit to list such sources in the future when you upload data to OSM)? It is important to specify the source so that others can verify that data has not been copied from copyrighted sources.

Sind diese Namen denn auf Schildern angebracht, oder wie konntest Du sie bei einer Ortsbegehung in Erfahrung bringen? Insgesamt hast Du rund 150 solcher Namen in der Gegend erfasst, das kann also auch kaum noch eigene Ortskenntnis sein...?

Can you explain what boundary=historic_lot is supposed to mean, how you arrive at the idea of using "admin_level=6" for it, and how it would be verifiable on the ground?

When adding house numbers to areas that have existing address interpolation lines, these interpolation lines can be removed. This is now moot since I am reverting this undiscussed import anyway, but actually removing the interpolation lines would have indicated that you had looked at the area rather than just importing stuff on top.
