Dear Rngrk, many of the objects you have created claiming "Bing" as a source are not visible on Bing imagery, for example the "grassland" areas way/1262193068 and way/1262191652. Are you sure that the source for this was Bing imagery?

"#hotosm-project-16842 #CanCross #CRC #MissingMaps" doesn't say anything about your intentions with this upload; "added buildings in High River, Alberta" would have been much more useful!

Dear Pablo, please check the builidings in this changeset, their outline looks improbable. Also, it is a good habit to add human-readable changeset comments - nobody in OSM knows what "#hotosm-project-17103 LACH_VE_FL_2024 #Humanitarianprogram " is supposed to mean.

What about the ~50 buildings in the center of this box - you left them in but on aerial imagery it looks like they might have been demolished too?

Hallo nenemeister, Du bist offensichtlich schon länger bei OSM dabei und nicht erst seit dem 1.7. - ich würde empfehlen, so einen umfassenden Edit, wie Du ihn hier durchführst, im Community-Forum zu diskutieren. Vielleicht findet sich da dann auch ein Konsens für eine automatische Umsetzung, dann sparst Du Dir die Handarbeit mit Overpass und JOSM.

Ich habe das Problem in https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/buslinien-fleissarbeit-in-mank-no/115283 erwähnt und ein anderer Benutzer hat die Haltestellen korrigiert. Wenn Dir noch etwas auffällt, kannst Du es dort im Forum zur Sprache bringen.

Adding data to OSM and then waiting "if we really get legal prosecution" is not the right approach. You must not take any information from a booking site, and you must delete all data that you have added from booking sites.

Dear olivejoh, in this changeset you have added over 1000 buildings. You claim to have used the source "PCN2012" but many of the buildings you have added are not visible on this imagery. It appears that you have imported the data from some other data source. Data imports must be discussed with the OSM community beforehand, and the source (and its license) must be clearly stated. I will revert this import.

Dear osmforeveryone, I have reverted this edit because you deleted a lot of buildings that matched the aerial imagery, and instead replaced them with little quadratic buildings that did NOT match the "MapBox Satellite" imagery you claimed to be using. Please (1) don't delete existing buildings to replace them with new traces; if the existing buildings don't match aerial imagery well, just correct them as needed. (2) don't draw "approximate" quadratic buildings when the building outline is obvious from aerial imagery.

I have now reverted all of Hendrikklaas's contributions in North America from the last couple of months because of complaints (deleting names from roads, mistakenly marking them as "paved" or changing them to driveways etc.); if the community would like to selectively re-instate these edits then I am willing to help but we'd need to find a consensus on how to proceed (ideally via the community forum).

Dear user RiMaDu, please try to make your buildings rectangular (there's a hotkey in the ID editor for that, and the people from whom you received your Mapathon training should have explained that to you). Also, please supply a human readable changeset comment; the OSM community doesn't know what CIBPH is and doesn't care that you are "Team Tricia" - we'd prefer to read something like "traced buildings near PLACENAME" or or so!

You don't have to make an individual upload for every building, it is totally fine to draw 20 of them and upload in one go.

I think that in truth you have copied this data wholesale from some booking site
, and the few links you have presented above were an insincere attempt to dodge that accusation. You have NOT extracted the information added to OSM from individual hotel web sites as you claim.

Yeah, if it is obvious that something else has been built over the railway then just delete it (or don't record in the first place). Only if visible traces remain should it be a railway=abandoned (think: we could invest a bag of cash to make this railway work again). If it's more a case of "we'd have to build a completely new railway" then don't map.

Dear kl2300031442, it is not necesssary to save every single building; you can draw 20 or 30 of them and then upload together with a meaningful changeset comment like "traced buildings in Ipurupalem" or so.
