Dear bvank, thank you for you contributions to OSM. When you upload a change, please provide a human-readable description of what the edit was about. We don't want hashtags in the description - they can go in the "hashtags" field. The description should read like "mapped buildings in PLACENAME" or something like that. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for more on this.

Also, when you create a building, do not use the "name" field to describe what the building is! If you want to map a greenhouse, search for greenhouse in the presets and choose the appropriate category; the "name" is only for cases where the building does indeed have a name (like "Tom's Happy All-Year Tomatoes" or whatever). See osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only for more on the "name" field.

I have now reverted the entirety of your edits, omalabo. Your data import did not follow our import rules outlined in osm.wiki/Import - you need to discuss your edits with the community before you commit them to OSM. The community would have made you aware of the problem that everything is capitalised, or the inaccuracy issues mentioned in the discussion on changeset/158523576. There is no discussion forum for the community in Niger specifically but the Africa forum https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/africa/39 might be a good place to discuss your plans.

Hey there Laz_cam, unsure if you read this seeing that you've not edited OSM for a while - a Plextek employee has complained to OSM about the names of these facilities, saying they would like them removed for "security reasons". Are these descriptions common knowledge and/or visible from the outside, or is this "Plextek insider knowledge"?

Dear Laryssa Helena, the "name" tag is used only for things that actually have a name, like perhaps a supermarket or a restaurant. In this and other recent changeset you have given buildings names like "L07" but these are not names. I don't know what they are - the "ref" tag might be more appropriate for it. Please discuss on the Brazilian community forum at community.openstreetmap.org.

Dear pahlavi_temecula, please put a meaningful description in your "changeset comment" field. You seem to have been using "Added them" for every single edit you made - that does not make sense. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for details.

Please explain your reasoning for creating a bay named "Sea_PE". Is that a name commonly used by the local population, as in "hey, Sea_PE looks funny today"?

Your edit of this junction osm.org/#map=19/38.483207/22.572592 does not seem to match reality (I see no separate connections on aerial imagery). In fact your editing style looks very much like that of a number of blocked users in Greece, e.g. DISCOVER TV, POWERTRAINS, TVGRECCE et al. - can you comment on your relationship with these accounts?

Please state the data source. Where did you get the department information from and what license is that data published under?

I think you should use highway=tertiary less frequently. Many roads you have upgraded to "tertiary" would be "residential" in my opinion, for example the "Strada Berzei"! Perhaps it would be useful to discuss with the Romanian community before you upgrade further roads.

Dear Jaanharis, you are adding a lot of buildings and uploading them with a changeset comment of "home".

1. You can add more than one building in a session, and then upload once you have created a handful. You do not have to upload every single building. As a changeset comment, please do not write "home", but instead explain what you did: "Added builidngs in NAME_OF_CITY" or so.

2. The editor can help you make buildings square with the "Q" key. Of course not every building is a rectangle in reality but some buildings that you have drawn could probably benefit from squaring.

3. Instead of using descriptive names ("rizwan shoe shop"), try to find the proper tag (if you type "shoe" in the feature box it will help you find the right tag for a shoe shop) and then only use "Rizwan" for the name, without "shoe shop" as this is already in the tag. This will also give you a nice icon on the map!
