Hello there and welcome to OSM. Are there two stationery stores right next to each other, or is this one store that you accidentally added twice? Maybe one of them needs to be deleted again? -- When setting the name, never use a descriptive tag. A stationery store will not usually be called "Stationery Store", it will be called something like "Anna's Paper Things" or maybe "Office 3000" or something like that. Unless of course "Stationery Store" is what it says on the sign outside.

When I asked you to add sources I didn't mean with every object, I meant a source tag on the changeset. Also, if you intend to use the Rapid editor to import AI-detected tracks across all of Turkey, please discuss this matter with the Turkish community first and link to that discussion in the changeset; AI-detected geometries are not equally welcome everywhere.

Dear btns, after the recent revert of an undiscussed import of yours, you have already contributed hundreds of changesets with addresses, track roads, and now boundaries, all without specifying a source. Initially I thought it might be local knowledge but it is now becoming clear that your contributions must have other sources because nobody can personally survey that much in so little time. In the future please specify the data source with each of your edits so that we know where the data comes from (and whether the use of that data source is permitted with OSM).

Hello Chuckles 2, you have added a bicycle=no to way/828669794 a year ago. Now the "Scripps Ranch Villages Master Association" writes that in fact this path was off-limits to non-residentials even when on foot, so we'd have to make it access=private. Any comments on this - do you remember what the signage was when you were there?

In this changeset you deleted a large number of buildings without an explanation. If these buildings have been demolished then it would have been good to mention that in the changeset comment (e.g. "removing demolished buildings"), otherwise people might think that it was a mistake or even deliberate vandalism.

Dear JohnG, please don't delete paths that exist in reality just because access is prohibited; instead, tag them as access=private or access=no. The path you have deleted in this changeset will simply be added back in again by someone else looking at aerial imagery - and who won't know that it is no access! Had you left the path in OSM with access=no, that would not happen. Also, even if access is prohibited here, knowledge about this path could very well save lives in an emergency - a possibility that your deletion has now cut off.

Dear Issy Badman, thank you for your contributions to OpenStreetMap. In this changeset you have drawn a number of very large buildings that, on closer inspections, are really plot boundaries - the buildings that sit inside these boundaries are much smaller. This is incorrect and needs to be fixed.

Also may I suggest that you use a changeset comment that describes what you did - to the un-initiated, "#gsdsociety2324" is meaningless and some OSM community mappers view it as disrespectful if others don't at least spend two human-readable words to describe what they did (e.g. "traced buildings").

Normalerweise benutzen wir das Tag "name" nur dann, wenn etwas einen Eigennamen hat (wenn z.B. ein berühmter Hydrant den Namen Fritz-Müller-Hydrant hätte oder so etwas). Für die hier erfassten Hydranten und Brunnen würde man eigentlich keine Namen setzen - stattdessen würde man das "ref"-Tag nutzen, um die Nummer zu erfassen. Siehe auch: emergency=fire_hydrant

Hallo Wirtschaftsbetrieb Mainz, super dass ihr bei OSM mitmacht und die Informationen sozusagen direkt von der Quelle eintragt! Ich hätte drei kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge:

(1) Wenn ihr eine Änderung hochladet, dann schreibt einen kurzen Kommentar dazu, der diese Änderung beschreibt (z.B. "Öffnungszeiten Toilette korrigiert" oder so), anstatt jedesmal den Bandwurmsatz "Der Wirtschaftsbetrieb Mainz ist für die Unterhaltung..." - dieser Satz gehört eher auf Eure Profilseite, damit man weiss, mit wem man es zu tun hat.

(2) Die Tags "phone" und "website" sind eigentlich dazu da, Kontaktdaten für das konkrete Objekt abzubilden - aber bei der Toilette wird man ja kaum anrufen können, und auch die Webseite ist ja nur eine allgemeine Webseite von Euch und keine, auf der speziell zu dieser einen Toilette was steht. Würde ich also weglassen.

(3) Für das Tag "opening_hours" gibt es eine spezielle Syntax, wenn ihr Euch an die haltet, dann kann das auch von Software richtig ausgewertet werden. Die Syntax ist hier beschrieben: opening_hours=*

Dear Kfar Aabida Municipality, in this changeset you have tagged a couple of village boundaries with the tag "admin_level=1" which would indicate a supra-national body. Your village may be important but it is not *that* important. Please choose an appropriate value according to admin_level=*.

Also, when uploading data to OSM, please describe the nature of the change that was made in the changeset comment (for example "renamed cave entrance"), rather than just "Requested By Kfar aabida Municipality" - this is not useful. If you have difficulties expressing yourself in English, then using the local language is totally fine.

Dear Ajay, welcome to OSM. Please note that we do not write names in all caps - write "Sahrudaya Hostel", not "SAHRUDAYA HOSTEL" and so on. I also notice that you have deleted a lot of things in this changeset; whenever possible, try to "upgrade" something that exists, rather than deleting and re-drawing it.

Dear btns, please stop the reverting of your own import, the DWG will take over and delete the import. Any future import plans must be discussed with the community BEFORE they are executed.

Please do not delete military infrastructure from the map; this violates our terms and conditions which you have agreed to during signup. You can delete objects if they have ceased to exist, but you cannot delete objects that exist in reality just because you want them hidden. I am reverting this changeset now.

What precisely is it that you do not agree with? I said that many of the buildings added in this changeset are not visible on Bing aerial imagery. Are you saying that the buildings added *are* actually visible on the imagery and therefore Bing is a credible source for this addition?

Many of the buildings added in this changeset are not visible on the imagery "Bing Maps Aerial" which is listed as a source in the changeset tags. On further edits please specify the data source you were using - were you tracing from aerial imagery, and if yes, then which imagery, and if not, then how did you know where the buildings are?
