hi, i'm not shure what you are talking about.

i did not rename any relation (boundary) to exist in russia and don't want to do that.

what i did: i'm fixing missing borders or borders with TECHNICAL errors, just by repairing them.

during that dayly task (see https://wambachers-osm.website/index.php/projekte/internationale-administrative-grenzen/missing-boundaries) some mappers including me are fixing borders round the world.

Usually i'm creating changesets on a country base ("fixing boundaries in china", "fixing boundaries in papua new guinea", "fixing boundaries in russia", "fixing boundaries in the ukraine", ...)

!! Sometimes i forget to close the old changeset when i switch to the next country !!

I think, this must have happened here, sorry for that :(

what in the hell is that?
what is the source for that?
what do the names mean?
who told you to do this?
....

what are you and some other mappers doing?

sorry: Use JOSM, not iD

56645156 almost 8 years ago

And removing existential tags from boundaries (e.g. boundary=administrative) is really, really wrong.

btw: editing boundaries using iD is a high risk of damage. use json.

but because you are living there (using he-IL as language), you have no reason to do that.

bad luck
have a nice day

Removing important tags from israels boundaries is NOT A GOOB JOB!

never ever touch any boundary without knowing what you are doing.

hi,
thanks for your quick reply.

the problem was: you changed type=boundary to type=site. this removed the admin boundary (city/village boundary) from osm.
that has nothing to do with "strange tagging in spanish or portugese"

i think, that was just an error. Never mind.

josm: you can't use josm in your browser. it's a standalone program which has to be installed. needs java runtime too.
see josm.openstreetmap.de

it's 100 x better than potlatch and 1000 x better than iD - it's professional.

please give josm a try, you will like it after some days.

problems? please ask me.

Hi,
any reason why you changed a correct admin boundary to a site? i don't know any ;)

hopeing, it was a typing error.

btw: what's about switching from the newbee editor iD to josm?
