This is now Diamond Street. 1055 is entrance to Diamond Foods terminal collecting from area farms by trucks and exported, probably by railroad to ships.

This is principal head quarters and locomotive shed for Stockton branch of the Central California Tracking Company. No address is visible, but it clearly on Cherokee Road. Last week I was amazed by the length of a train going through here going SW on Cherokee Road.

A couple of days ago waltclay parked here and walked back to Waterloo and confirmed that the address on this building is correct. It is also his only candidate as a closed fire station. He speculates that this unincorporated area is covered for fire and ems by a contract with the Stockton fire department. On the other hand, the sheriffs deputies still police the area.
