Теперь здания можно по 1-2 фоткам в Google Skecthup создать, а потом в OSM-файл экспортировать с помощью моего плагина http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=11192

I can display an alert message on each export to OSM file. Alert message on each import from OSM file or GPS track soon becomes annoying. I can check if there is a screen overlay in Sketchup

3D is not yet part of OSM. So the texture issue is not that relevant.

Tracing Google imagery in Sketchup and using models from Sketchup Warehouse to derive a 2D outline of the model are the threats to legal purity.

My intention is to use imported OSM ways and GPS-tracks to place the reconstructed 2D outline of a building. So no Google imagery should be used.

If we extend my work to 3D: no Google Street View should be used to pick a texture. The use of Google Sketchup default textures doesn't imply any legal limitation as far as I know

Ainsworth, I would suggest to setup a page at the OSM-wiki, e.g. "Bundler for OpenStreetMap"
I can contribute with bundler scripts ported to windows (it means no installation of Cygwin and Perl is required).

How many pictures did you use for the Bundler input?
