Hi SomeoneElse, I will send the amail proposed by you so that I can be added to that discussion but also that I can share any information or discussion we then have regarding this issue.

Hi Udarian,
Thank you for making the corrections on these issues. The motorway_link geometry was modified to avoid risky maneuver instructions to drivers (e.g., abrupt lane change). However, after reviewing your feedback I agree that that the changes were not optimum given that the solid white line is not a reason by itself to separate highways in OSM by adding separate geometry. We investigated a better way to handle these situations to inform the driver without impacting the geometry and plan to use the change:lanes=* tag on highways from the point of separation as per following: change=*. We have also implemented a review to identify any other situations like this where we have introduced an incorrect lane split location and added the additional geometry. For any found we will be making the correction to reposition the node to the exit split and add the change:lanes=* tag as per above if appropriate. We are also updating our instructions so that the operators avoid rounding out geometry where this is not supported by the source. Regards

Hi Udarian,
I agree that the curvature is not correct in this situation and so thank you for making the corrections. We are also updating our instructions so that the operators avoid rounding out geometry where this is not supported by the available source. Regards

Hi spiregrain, indeed, we do not share OSM accounts between users at TomTom or partners working on our behalf, each user sets up and is assigned that single account. However, I fully understand how you would have got the notion that accounts were shared given the response to your comment stating that the user was no longer with us, yet the response to you was from the departed user’s account. That was a mistake by the person who sent the response and additional checkpoints have been put in place to prevent this mishap going forward. Best regards.

Hi Jeti87, based on our almost real time GPS tracks and local knowledge it does point to the changes I suggest in my earlier message. However, I propose for the next few days to leave the roadworks and layout as you have digitized them as it is possible that there will be more activity on the roadworks after the Christmas break. So we will check again later next week.
he roadworks in this vicinity are scheduled to continue through until 25th August 2024 so I am sure there will be some further changes required as the roadworks progress.

Hi Jeti87, I am reaching out to you as you have done some edits on these junctions and value your input. According to our real time sources and some local knowledge Neefestraße at around this junction with A72 is now open in both directions and that off ramp way/52492159 is also open to traffic. We also see that the off/on ramps of ways: 3237226, 301694817 are closed to traffic at this time. I would like to make the edits to facilitate these updates do you have any issues with these being made? Thank you.

Hi cyankahly, Do you know if the road works are still active on B 173 just to the east of the edits you made in this changeset but they are routable? Currently by opening the roads in your changeset for east bound traffic there is no outlet for vehicles as the remaining roadworks prevent routing from those opened ways. Thank you.

Hi fehlerfinder, Thank you for flagging this up to me. I really appreciate you providing a much better method to duplicates; merge rather than delete. I will work to recover the data as it was prior to my actions. Thanks again.

Hi InsertUser. Thank you for raising this with me. I did not realize that I had covered multiple continents (let alone countries) in this changeset. I am being more aware now to not create a changeset beyond reasonable boundaries. Regards
