170944788	4 months ago	By chance, I was reading the (English) wiki a few days ago because of another palm discussion, and it says The most widely used tag for tagging palm trees is taxon:family=Arecaceae. Despite the fact that this was largely introduced in February 2021 through an automated edit, many mappers agree that it is the most suitable tag for identifying palm trees. leaf_type=palm is also widely in use, but is botanically incorrect as palms have broad leaves. Incidentally, I only noticed this because of the unusual translation into English, which would not be necessary due to the Wikidata information.
