It was recently noted that the sidewalks near MSU are highlighted in blue as cycleways by the Open Cycle Map renderer, however, there is an ordinance in East Lansing prohibiting bicycles on sidewalks (selectively​ enforced). I am recommending that the sidewalks be retaged in the following way:

highway=footway
footway=sidewalk
(or where appropriate)
footway=crossing

I don't have time to do this right now, otherwise, I would do it.

Newbie question or action request. Mount Hope Park has access, parking, buildings, trails. Trails connect to Saddlebrook Lane, Grand Ldege (Delta Township), MI 48837. I'd like to see this detailed out. Further I'm willing to work on the project. Again, as a newbie I'm looking for direction and realize this may be over my head. I do walk the trail.
