Just realised the other day that contours are available for all ski areas, you just have to request them, so sent a note to the [email protected], so hopefully there will be contours soon.

I did this a while back, made some changes a few days ago, but so far no sign on the slippy may for openpiste map.

Seems like I need to learn how to prod tile re-renders.

I have added some more lifts and now up to about 30 or so of the pistes.

I had the maps I've created so far on my nokia phone (using https://launchpad.net/johnjohn ) and they were pretty helpful today.

GPS tracking was more accurate on the south side of the hill today too -- oh and it was sunny too.

I've added about 10 pistes and 6 lifts so far. As this is my first attempt at editing I'd be interested in any feedback on what I have done.

The stuff was rendered briefly, but has now disappeared (not sure what is going on there). Below is a link to the bit I've been editing.

Related to this, is there a way to get a summary of the edits I have submitted?

I'm new to all this.

I've been writing GPS based apps for my nokia phone for a while now.

I've used this to collect tracks from ski trips to Mt Tremblant, Quebec.

Now trying to get my head round JOSM.
