Hi,

Please see the wiki for proper opening_hours syntax. For example this should be (and has been updated to): opening_hours=Fr[4] 10:00-11:00; Sa[3] 12:00-14:00

I hope I'm not the first one to notice, but there are a lot of duplicate addresses in this data (throws warnings in JOSM's validator). I can get that this is how the City of Fort Worth stores its data but this is at odds with OSM best practices as I understand them.

Second that, without a source this appears to violate the mechanical edit policy and/or import policy.

It's probably fine where it is for now. Are the car wash roofs shown on Bing imagery now demolished?

Hi,

Please do not use description=* for advertising copy. This is considered rubbish and has been removed.

Oops, sources should have included "web search"

Hi,

What exactly is "f" supposed to mean as a changeset comment?

Hi,

In the future please only use highway_link=* for short connecting roads (crossovers, turning bays, on-/off-ramps), and not the main through route.

As previously asked on changeset/102074753 -- The shape of the border differs significantly than what the City of Sugar Land shows on its own website for its border. Can you please describe your "local knowledge" in a bit more detail?

Hi,

Please keep each changeset within a smaller area (i.e. save before switching areas). This makes it easier to see the actual area being edited with each changeset. For example, your changeset shows up in a huge chunk of the southern US including portions of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

Wrong note numbers. Should be 2602955, 2602957, 2602961. The other two will be added later

Hi,

We can tell the changeset is in Houston. The purpose of a changeset comment is to describe what you changed and possibly a short note as to why. Something like: "Added buildings (including name from survey), factory/industrial area"

Hi,

Please note that we spell out the street names on OpenStreetMap. The reason being is that abbreviating can always be done easily where necessary but de-abbreviating results in many ambiguous cases. (For many years there were a bunch of "Avenue East" between Avenues D and F, "Avenue North" past Avenue M, etc because of a botched de-abbreviation effort.)

Hi,

In the future please try to align the building to the imagery. You can use the Q shortcut key in iD to square the corners.

Hi,

In the future, it would help if your changeset comment reflects the entirety of what was added in that changeset. OsmAnd apparently overwrites the comment each time even if you leave it open. (This is arguably a bug, though it should be noted OsmAnd wasn't made with the primary purpose of being an editor.)

I personally add one item per changeset when using OsmAnd because of this. You may want to look at Vespucci as an alternative.

Thanks and happy mapping!

I think that's by sheer unfortunate coincidence as it touches the US-Canada border, but still we need a more useful comment than "hi".

Oops, also add address info from web searches (not noted in original source=* tag)

Yet again, this changeset comment describes absolutely nothing about what you actually did. This changeset included six dubious highway classification changes from residential to tertiary, all of which I have since reverted.

Please *describe* your changes in the changeset comment, as others have done, instead of using vacuous filler text like "made some few minor changes here and there." It can be argued that road classifications, especially to/from tertiary and higher, are *not* minor changes.
