Thank you for your contribution on OSM. Please recheck this area again with other recent imagery. The features you have deleted mapped by DG Premium imagery which was more recent imagery than Bing Aerial imagery. Please check Maxar/ Esri imagery where these buildings are visible. Thank you for mapping. Regards Solaiman.

Hi there @Zabir91

I use OSM as my primary map. I found no problem using it as Bangla. Rather I found it more usable.

This is very nice to know that you are using OSM as your primary map. What I would like to know is your use case, meaning how and for what do you use OSM? Do you use it to search places, navigate from point A to point B? And what app or site do you use to do this?

Some apps don't render properly, like OSMAnd, Also Maps.me, but it is because of the font embebed in that app. Ask the app developer to fix it.

OSMAnd, Maps.me and many others doesn't render Bengali and asking the developer to do that is the most sensible call. But people who don't read Bengali but want to use the maps for Bangladesh like diplomats, foreign visitors, what should they do? Learn Bengali? You haven't even put the name:en tags on those places and in someplace the name:en tags are removed all together. Do you think that is sensible?

It can be, may be because you have missed this:

osm.wiki/Multilingual_names#Bangladesh
From this: osm.wiki/Names#Localization

Yes we have missed it. The first link says that name should have Bangla name and name:en should have English name. What you missed in this link that the edit was made by Aftab at 19:55, 28 May 2019‎. Nobody from the OSMBDF or BHOOT knows him so he doesn't represents the community in Bangladesh. No discussing in this topic was made so a edit in Wiki doesn't make that a 'policy'. The second link is about name Localization not about what should be on name tag. The first line says 'By now the majority of rendering systems can deal with unicode characters, so you can use the local script for the default name tag. There is no need to use the Latin script.' but for us it is not true, is it?

By the way, we are staring a discussion (which, if I may note, the community you are referring to has failed) about the topic in [talk-bd](https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-bd) mailing list with the thread title [Discussion: Issues with name localization for Bangladesh](https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-bd/2019-November/000151.html). You are welcome to participate and give your opinion there.

Hi আফতাবুজ্জামান, again thanks for your contribution on osm. But I am sorry to say your contribution is going to destructive for both osm data and our Bengali language. In your changes there was a market named "Sarder Super Market" which was tagged as "name=Sarder Super Market" but you modified the name deleting the previous user's data which is disrespectful behavior because he did no mistake giving the tag name= Eng. name. If you want to localize the name, you should have keep the data as "name=Sarder Super Market" and then you could give the tag "name:bn=সর্দার সুপার মার্কেট" But what have you done? you just deleted the real contributor's data and gave false name "সদর মার্কেট (Sadar Market)" So that means you are putting data randomly with a desperate manner. As well as putting wrong translation on osm, you are humiliated our mother tongue. If you do not read properly you should not edit any quality data on the other hand if you do not know how to type Bangla please do not use any translate machine to do such destructive things. Another thing is that, do you know the data you have deleted that was a field level data? Putting no new data you are just making mess by editing on OSM. Regards, Solaiman.

Hi, Thanks for mapping! As you don't know name of that object I think you should not keep them. Thank you.

hi, your tracing is really good. Great work but when you draw a building, just select it and then press "q" button to square the shape. Thank you. Keep mapping. Regards-Solaiman

Hi I have reviewed your work. your tracing of object looks good. But Building shape and size is not good. After drawing a building click Q to square the shape. On the other hand do not draw things like garden/ something like this in your initial stage of mapping. You have tagged 2 area as garden but it seems that there is no garden at all. The imagery says it is just big trees. So, be careful about tagging objects that you never know. And the other thing is you have given a natural object's name as Pond. Can you explain how can a pond's name can be Pond? So, do not give objects name with knowing the original name. Keep Mapping. Thank you. Regards, Solaiman.

Hi, Thanks for mapping on OSM. You did really a great job. But keep one thing in your mind that, whenever you have drawn a building through ID Editor click "Q" selecting the object to square the shape for any squared or rectangular building. On the other hand some buildings were larger, some were smaller than the actual shape. And please select Maxar Standard imagery because it seems here more recent and updated imagery. Keep mapping. Thank you. Regards, Solaiman.

Thanks for your valuable review. actually I do not have local idea of this area. as well as actually when I was mapping it was difficult to understand rd classification because we cant view AI line and other osm data in zoom out view. if it is possible to view AI line and osm data in zoom in and out view option. On the other hand, if it is possible developing josm tool to map AI, it will give better result. Thanks...Solaiman

Hi, Thanks for mapping on osm. You have tagged drawing an area as area=yes with highway tag. This thing looks absurd. It does not give any meaningful idea about that thing. Would you please giving idea about this area, because it shows validation errors also. Thank you.

Hi, here you have drawn a walkway highway 35.03856165, 139.8269503 (lat:long) where some one has drawn another highway as an unclassified highway also. which was drawn years ago. so which one should be visible I don't know. as I am a stranger of this area, don't know much about this place, you should check out the place to resolve the issue. Thank you.

Thanks for your review, actually I was trying to resolve my Osmose issues http://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/byuser/shaikh%20solaiman that I got from How did you contribute to OpenStreetMap? page http://www.hdyc.neis-one.org/?shaikh%20solaiman . It would be helpful to me if you help me to resolve it and what should be the changesets when I will map my previous work. Thanks in advance,
Solaiman.

I don't know the task no. when I had seen this mess I left it through this comment without editing anything as you know better than me. Thank you.

Thanks for your review! It was just said to inform you and also to know whether you know the place better. Because before your mapping the area was marked as wetland, but you tagged a small portion as river inside a wetland instead of ditch or canal. Because Bing imagery says it cant be a river but you tagged. That's why I informed you to look at. But may be you took it as personally. However, in project 5741 imagery was esri, but may be you are validating with maxar, that's why it can be more clear than before. Finally, don't take it personally because I think that area should have been tagged as canal/ditch instead of river if you look through Bing Imagery. And I think my approach of informing was friendly and also yours. So, never mind.
Best regards

Hi, Greetings! Here in this area you have drawn by using Bing imagery and there is no drought that might be river. but when you will look through Maxar Standard Imagery it seems there is no river or any waterways. It seems like highways. So, would you mind looking this place using Maxar Standard imagery. Thanks in advance.
