I modified some of your changes a little (already put just the addresses for the closed stationery and gallery back in), and merged the new hat shop business with the existing address. I left your other changes alone, since they looked okay to me. Thanks again!

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for the helpful edits! Just a quick tip: If a business has closed, you can just change/remove the business-specific tags but leave the still-good address, if there is one, for the next tenant. (Right-click-select and press "downgrade" in the editor). Or left-click-select the feature and under "Tags" on the left, remove business tags (shop, name, website, etc) one at a time.

Hi, saw this change, and am pretty sure the entire park is still called "Ross Park" (via signs visible in street-level imagery, official-website photo, and shop name across the street :) ). Though the playground area could be tagged with the newly added name. Could we make that change instead?

Hi, welcome to OSM! Thanks for the helpful edit (and extra kudos for sticking to it until it was just right!). Looks like it had been very slightly incorrect for a long time. Thanks again and keep it up!

The "disused:" prefix is a softer removal method. It can be applied to tags already there (in this case at least "disused:leisure=fitness_centre" would work). Can be used if you're not sure it's permanent, or to leave traces of the prior tags for some reason. Again, would just remove the business tags as described above, in this case.

This method keeps the address-related tags (likely still valid) for the next tenant.

Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for asking! I would not have added a new tag here, but would have removed all business-related tags (name, leisure, website, sport). If you right-click the feature in iD and select "downgrade" in that pop-up menu it will do this in one-step.

Good to hear! I'll answer your question separately since it's not about this changeset anymore.

Hi, welcome to OSM! Just wondering, did they really remove the name from this street? It looks like it should still be North 183rd Street, and you've removed the tag. Should it be something else now? Thanks!

Hi, welcome to OSM - thanks for the edit! It looks like this cafe was already in the map, I've added the hours info you added to the existing one and deleted the duplicate objects. Thanks again!

Hi again, hope you don't mind the suggestions -- for this pitlatrine toilet facility, would suggest mapping similar to (node/5804507616) nearby. 1. amenity=toilets (correct) 2. toilets:disposal=pitlatrine 3. Don't add a descriptive name tag like "Restroom" (really for proper names, like "Husky Stadium"). These tags are documented on the OSM wiki. Thanks, and hope you're having fun editing! Takes a little while, so keep it up!

Hi, thanks for the edits! Just a request - when removing a closed business, please just remove individual tags (specific to the business) and not the entire node, that way we can keep the valid address for the next tenant! I've already put back the one removed here, so nothing more needs to be done. Thanks again for the edits, it's helpful!

Hi, thanks for the edits -- glad to see all the buildings added! Though would suggest that most buildings corners be squared (as Glassman suggested), being sure to follow the building outline, and not connecting buildings disconnected in reality. That would avoid someone having to come back and adjust all of these! Thanks again.

I see you're editing a lot -- glad to see all the activity!

Hi, the positioning was probably fine; it looks like they kept a box on the same block - in the spirit of "keeping the history" (biased towards manually-added features, actually) I just moved the old one in place of the brand new node.

Hope you don't mind, since it was easier to do this way, I went ahead and merged your additions into the node which was already there, and fixed the address tags -- all in the live data. Should be reflected in a future data update to OsmAnd, if that's how you prefer to edit.

Hi, thank you for the edits! Tip: After marking the object as toilets, fountain, or picnic table, please do not describe the feature in the name. (no name of "Restroom", "Water fountain", "Picnic tables"). Names are for referring to a specific object, like "Meadowdale Park", not for describing the object's type. If you have questions, please let me know. Thanks again, hope to see more edits!

Hi, thanks for adding this new house (and adding the address)! Just a friendly tip: after both drawing and tagging it as a building, you can then square the building in iD editor with ‘q’ (if the corners are 90 degrees, as it looks here). It helps to draw all corners as close to 90 degrees, too. Thanks again!

Also, I don’t think you can add city, state, country or zip code in the app without going into advanced mode and adding the specific tags. If you need help, please let me know! Thanks again.

Hi, thanks for the edit, glad to see it! Just a quick note that the Street Name should be just “Rainier Avenue South” in this case, and the Building Number (as OsmAnd refers it) should be “5710”. So the number and street info are completely separate, with no abbreviations. That’s a great start!
