I’m a volunteer fire fighter and ex-mountain guide in rural Colorado who is also a software engineer for a living. As we cover a huge and mountainous district, I’ve been correcting our local datasets for things like unofficial trails and campsites, and adding data we need like water sources and helicopter landing zones for many years. Now I’m expanding to all of Colorado and the surrounding states.
